every time “the wedding” by james horner comes on in the ngcs complete soundtrack i start giggling because it’s supposed to be the music for the.... post bilbo’s bday celebration scene? you know, the one i wrote like ten billion drafts for in the screenplay because i wanted to keep it simple but make it obvious that they frickle frackled?

there’s this moment in the music where there’s like, tubas or something that just go womp....womp.....womp and then there’s a bit of trumpets on top and i start laughing because i’m imagining, like, richard armitage’s naked back moving rhythmically over martin freeman in time with the music

i just want to let @finnick-odeair know that their complete nothing gold can stay playlist is hitting every single note for what i imagined when i adapted the screenplay, right down to “quiet piano moments for bilbo” and “sherlock-esque music for the investigation”, and “mounting/swelling strings for the first ride through the streets of erebor”

i feel like this is partly testament to bilboo‘s ability to........somehow evoke with words an aural quality to each scene? because this is so fucking uncanny.

okay but like this is so fascinating, reading about how each of these people met the royal they ended up marrying, like it's great to know that you don't have to have social climbing entrepreneur parents like kate or claire or to have had the means to go to fancy prep schools/boarding schools to meet them. you could be a middle-class journalist doing the evening broadcast, like queen letizia. heck, you could've just have been chilling in a hotel lobby like mary and just happen to run into this hot stranger and get contact details and then your friends were like 'hey that was the crown prince of denmark'. or the crown princess of sweden walks into your gym one day and asks for you to be her personal trainer. like what even.

these kinds of stories, of unlikely meetings and the relationships that spring from it are seriously my bread and butter and gosh, i guess it's why i just adore hamratio and nothing gold can stay so much. like. just. stories of opportunity and chance encounters and wow, what do you mean my lab partner is the prince of denmark and next in line for the throne?

(if anyone was keeping track of my mental list of "people ngcs!bilbo has to meet at some point in his life ever" there's kate middleton, and queen letizia of spain, and crown princess mary of denmark, and prince daniel of sweden, and christopher o'neill, and now princess claire of luxembourg)

This may sound really realy weard, and I'm sorry to bother you, but my roomate gave me your NGCS script and when I wondered who wrote that, your beautiful Trekker url came out, than I open your bog and BAMF, a wild Sena Jun appears. So, I'm here, sitting on my couch wondering: Are you me? like, really, I get that could exist other fans of both Star Trek and bagginshield, but Takarazuka too? no, really, it's too much for my poor soul

If you add a healthy dose of Shakespeare into the match then yes, we might be clones of one another!
