First page of Nogenïfes! So excited to finally start this journey!

I hid some easter eggs in this one. Four to be exact.

Hey, uh, it’s Ender from @glitchender and I’ve finally decided to post a bit about a passion project of mine, Nogenïfes. I’ll give a general idea of what’s about to go down.

What does Nogenïfes mean?

Nogenïfes (no-gehn-ee-fess, can be stylized as Nogeniifes) is the Ohagïsha (conlang) word for “prophecy.”

When and where does it take place?

The actual prophecy takes place around the mid 2080s. The backstories for characters go as far back as the creation of the universe itself. Majority of the actual story takes place on Earth, with some extraterrestrial planets mentioned in passing.

What’s in it? What’s the genre?

Fantasy, Sci-fi, something. Not entirely sure myself. Lots of magic, advanced technology, magical creatures, aliens, post-apocalyptic, gods, you get the picture.

Disturbing and sensitive content is written into the story. Everything from petty high school drama to government corruption to even manipulation and abuse. Everything will be tagged accordingly. This comic is not meant for children and I do not condone any of my character’s actions.

Summary?

In the Realm of Reality exist gods among men. While powerless in the realm they exist within, they are able to retreat to pocket universes they design. These Worldbuilders have mastered the predecessor of all elemental magic the day they exit the womb: ink. It can take centuries for any other living creature to master ink at the Worldbuilder’s level, as long as they are not consumed by it first.

One of these Worldbuilders has a story to tell. A young, teenaged Worldbuilder, only known as Creator by Her sketches, gets into a conflict with a mortal She befriended. Her Soul shatters and all fragments of who She once was isolate Themselves from the mortal plane. Struggling to find Herself again, as all aspects of Her are now separate, the original Creator announces a prophecy before Her isolation, “A child of evil shall rise from the earth to speak to Me and bring peace to all.” Millennia will pass before a human child named Cameron will escape the underground in search of a purpose.

Hey! I don’t normally post stuff but if you guys want check out my passion project @nogeniifes it’s gonna be a webcomic thing, maybe. It’s got ocs and story and world building and it’s gonna be neat! So if you like that kind of stuff check it out and maybe follow it.

I’ve been working on it since middle school and I feel like it’s finally gotten good enough to share with the world. I’m actually really shy about my art so please check it out at least. :)!! Thanks!
