New Girl, New City || xdrewtorresx

Bianca needed to get away, she couldn't stay in Vancouver any longer and that was obvious. So here she was, taking on a whole new city, all by herself. It was daunting and terrifying as hell, but nothing could be more terrifying than her ex-husband. She was ready to start over and create herself again, forget her past and move on. Now in Toronto, she wanted to get out and meet people, try new things and really experience life again. Her ex-husband controlled her life before, she couldn't do anything and she didn't even really have a life. Now she did and she was ready to get out there, though she was hesitant to trust anyone. It was nerve-wracking going out to meet someone she didn't know, but she needed to take risks and live life. The brunette was going to leave the small apartment she had gotten in the city and go meet a nice guy who wanted to show her around. She didn't want to be scared here, but she also knew she had to protect herself. With that in mind, she left confidently out her apartment and made her way to her car, the car she'd driven across the country to get here. Getting in to her car, she put the address to the place he'd told her to meet him at into her GPS and started the car, following the directions given to her till she arrived at what seemed like a small cafe-like restaurant called The Dot.

Finding a parking spot, she got out and took a look around, a smile on her face. There were so many differences between Toronto and Vancouver in her mind, but the biggest difference was she felt safe and at peace here. It was the perfect place. Bianca made her way inside the small restaurant and looked around for the blue eyes that had instantly entranced her, but did not see them. She found a table and took a seat, looking out the window and wondering where he would take her today and what'd she see. But most of all, she wondered if they'd get along or if he'd be like the men she knew in the past. Before she let her mind go too crazy, she felt someone walking up to the table and her eyes fell on to those blue eyes, they were so much better in person. A smile spread on the girl's face and she looked at him warmly, "Hey. You are definitely the nicest person I've been here so far, but I think anyone is nicer than my landlord." She laughed softly, not so good with first impressions, but she was trying, "What I'm trying to say is, thanks for wanting to show me around." She kept a smile on her lips, her eyes studying his face. The girl was hoping that this man would be different, but she knew to stay hesitant.
