Hi sasosaku fandom!!

Hi! I've been thinking about Bleach related stuff and timelines, and I thought I'd ask you for your opinion about the Shiba clan. On the wiki, it is currently listed that Isshin is Kaien's uncle, but I've never read anything like that in the manga. Which makes me think: To your knowledge, is there any information about the date of Kaien's death? Did it happen before or after Isshin's disappearance from Soul Society? Also, do you have any idea why the Shiba clan fell from grace?
Hi!
It’s never outright stated that Isshin is Kaien, Kuukaku, and Ganju’s uncle, but given that Kuukaku has a statement before sending Ichigo and Zero Division up to the Soul King’s Palace about “I had to let him go. Even if this means disappointing our uncle,” (Chapter 518). There are no other known Shiba than Isshin, so… It’s an inference, but it’s not a big logical leap.
Hisana died in 1951, Byakuya found Rukia the next year and she entered the Gotei 13 in 1952. Isshin left Soul Society in 1983, Ichigo was born in 1985. From Rukia’s general nerves and attitude during her flashbacks to Kaien, my feeling is he couldn’t have made it more than 20 to 25 years after her arrival. She’s very much still something of a rookie, even if he’d helped her learn her first two shikai dances. To me, that means he died somewhere between 1962 and 1977.
Rangiku tells Isshin that "I know you’re from a lesser branch, but if the head of the Shiba House continues to act in this manner you’ll do irreparable damage to the main branch!“ (Chapter 529). If he’s the head of the Shiba, that means Kaien is already dead by then and Kuukaku is either disinterested or considered too young to take over. So, at any rate, Kaien was dead before Isshin left.
As to what caused their fall, probably exactly Isshin leaving and disgracing himself and the clan by going AWOL from a Captaincy. You had a Shiba Lieutenant die to a “mere” Hollow and then a Shiba Captain mysteriously walk off the job and disappear after repeatedly disobeying orders. The only two Shiba apparently left were a woman missing an arm and a young punk, so the Clan collapsed as its retainers fled in disgrace.
(This continues Isshin’s pattern of being a rather selfish asshole if you actually stop and think about the things he does. He didn’t really give a shit about anything other than Masaki, to be honest.)
This is my feeling, anyway. It’s never spelled out, but there’s enough present to put together that much and it’s fairly consistent.
After seeing you deal with these asks, comments and replies, I can only admire your patience.
Thank you.
@nheala replied to your post “steam won’t refund me for no man’s sky -_- thanks guys”
Didn't they say they'd give refunds to everyone regardless of how much time you spent in-game?
Apparently this wasn’t true. When I sent the support ticket they said that this was false and they are still using game time to determined refund eligibility. -_-

i heard some people say it didn't work first time for them so maybe keep trying? i'm sorry though that really sucks
I just might; I’ll see if there’s a way to contact anyone higher up cause $60 for a game I played for 30 hours that made a lot of false promises is just lame.
What do you guys think about the souls of adjuchas class hollows, and by extension, the arrancar? We've been told that hollows evolve by consuming each other. But what happens to the souls in the process? When a gilian turns into an adjuchas, is the new personality an amalgam of the souls consumed, or is it just one dominant soul taking over? When an arrancar is killed, will all souls be released as individual ones? Or is the soul released instantly and it's only the energy being consumed?
There’s only 2 bits of canon evidence about this that I can think of. First is what Grimmjow’s backstory tells us. In Chapter 284, there’s a distinction drawn between gillian that are mindless amalgams of cannibalized hollows and those within which a dominant personality emerges. Those are the menos who progress to become adjuchas and then arrancar. So yes, its a single dominant hollow’s personality that rules the roost in adjuchas.
The second bit of evidence comes from Aaroniero Arruruerie, the only gillian espada. When he’s masquerading as Kaien, he claims that he became the dominant personality in the hollow and that’s why it took his shape. Okay, so that’s proved to be a lie afterwards; he’s not the dominant personality at all, the heads in the tank are (which makes them extremely unusual. I wonder if they were twins); but Kaien does seem to be in there. I mean, Aaroniero can use Kaien’s zanpakuto in shikai, which I think is, if not conclusive proof that his soul is still in there, at least pretty weighty evidence.
Moving on with that in mind, and this is purely personal head canon now, I think all the accumulated souls are released in a rush when an arrancar is cleansed. I think those that are not much more than soul ‘vapour’, probably the ordinary human souls that were consumed early, immediately get processed by the SK (if that’s how souls get back into the system). The weaker ones who still have individuality probably end up in Rukongai, where they stay until they fade naturally and get reborn/processed/whatever. The stronger ones also end up in Rukongai and, I think, become shinigami, and the dominant personalities in an arrancar become strong shinigami, captain-class ones.
There is absolutely no evidence for this in canon really, except that hollows and shinigami are obviously closely related since the boundary between them can be broken down. And, curiously, Zabimaru in his old bankai, because that skeletal snake’s head is very much like a hollow’s mask and his hikotsu taiho (bone cannon) sure looks like a cero to me. Plus, the strong folks out in Rukongai have to come from somewhere, and this is as good an explanation as any.
Any thoughts from anyone else?

Let's see... How about Amethyst and Peridot? (For the "grade the ship" meme)
Send me a ship and I will grade it:
Oohh~ Amethyst x Peridot. It’s called Amedot, I think?
I give it a B. Mainly because I’m still waiting for more canon interaction to see how it’d develop, but I see potential with those two.
