The NHL Duo under the age of 21 with the 2nd Most Points scored on the same goal of All-time, Celebrini-Smith.
(March 7th, 2026)
trailing only kane/toews by 10 goals with 5 more games until will’s 21st birthday.
celebrini-smith goal no.52, sjs vs mtl (x)
macklin’s goal with will as secondary assist. earning the team first lead of the game, 3-2. his first time reaching 30th goal in an nhl season.
no.53 from the same game, sjs vs mtl (x)
will smith with a beautiful pass from macklin during power play, his 19th for the season. the sharks went 5-2.
once again, i can’t talk enough about how will and mack both have had 3 weeks on IR and an olympic break during their runs. never mind that they weren’t on ice at the same times for a lot of those games in their rookie year either.
per my math, i think they have played a maximum of 109 games together. (will’s)(mack’s)
the amount of joint GP is less than ideal, but they should still be proud to have cemented the second place. this one will stay theirs for a very long time to come.
when we were at 45, i was hoping to end this one at 50. and now we’re at 53. couldn’t be more proud❤️
My two favorite stats for the the NHL 2025/26 season
C***r h***t become the first goalie to co concede 4+ goals in the first five games of a Stanley cup final
The sharks v columbus blue jackets game in March (I think I don't remember when this game was) the first time two Ohio natives (Alex nedeljkvch, goalie, for the sharks and I think a defenseman for CBJ but I cannot remember) have played against each other in NHL history.

Goalie Stats Against Avs vs Rest of League 25-26 Season (only losses)
Out of 27 losses. Only 4 (sorta 5 with one of otter’s games included) of the goalies had a worse save percentage than their season average when facing the avs, Reimer/ottawa’s sv% was only .003 above his season average. 14 of the games had the other team’s goalie as one of the 3 stars. 6 of the goalies had their best sv% night (other than shutouts) against the avs, and an additional 3’s games against the avs were in the top 5 of their sv% performances.
Had several realizations partway through (should’ve tracked this as a spreadsheet, should’ve kept track of total games played for each goalie, shouldn’t have done it late at night, etc), I’ll probably go back at some point to add the context for goalie games played/more context of where their game against the avs falls.

I have split these posts by divisions. I'm also not sure how often i will post these
