RADIANT LIGHT THROUGH windows casts light just enough to wake him from his slumber, the teacher was going on and on about the history of psychology, the beginning of the study, something that he’ll only ever use as a fact to seem as though as he’s far more educated as he actually is, not like it’s super relevant to his line of work, though knowing the beginnings, visualizing the ends. seeing the advancements, it all fit so perfectly. the lecture was about Wilhelm Wundt, first to call himself a psychologist, first to study the field, back when the medical field was developing, almost bare. a quick turn to the person beside him --
❛hey Parker-- what do you think Wundt set out accomplish when he first said he was a psychologist? i mean, to others it meant nothing, right?? ---so -- what made him do it? ❜ TALKING IN CLASS WAS encouraged, conversations being sparked, small debates on the topics, another opinion. ❛ I feel like he went out on a limb, ya know? he didn’t know it would catch on. ❜
