Okay this is something I’ve been toying around with recently and I want to find out how receptive you guys will be to it before I go ahead.
As a PhD student my financial situation is not great. To pay my bills, save for my house deposit etc my purse strings have to be very tight and so I’ve been looking at ways to earn a few quid here and there.
I firstly have my Etsy shop but I have also recently looked into setting up a ko-fi. I know patreon is not an option as a writer as I cannot ask you to pay for special access to my work especially since I cannot guarantee regular updates, however with ko-fi you will just be supporting me as a person instead of a writer.
However I recognise that I am not the only one who needs to be frugal therefore before I potentially go ahead with this I want to know how likely you are to want to support me. I don’t expect much at all, just a couple quid when you can so it feels less painful when I buy lunch on campus or a coffee to get me through the long late hours of study.
