I thought that both of them seemed likely. I think it would have actually have been weirder if she went back to Shishio considering how much progression Mamura and Suzume got in the last half.

yeah good point. it was weird in the first place that she ran to shishio at the hospital and mamura told her to go. but then it was also weird (but good) that she didn't follow thru with that twist.

the plot just switches so often that it feels kind of weird no matter what because theres so much hinting either way. suzume is a weird girl after all

but it's really refreshing to see an shoujo where she isn't stupidly stubborn about liking only the first guy she liked (owo)b

That post about Punblr just reminded me of a proud, terrible moment. About a month or so ago, I hanged out at Sandra's (aka nibchan on this here site) place for a few days. Shortly after arriving and putting all my things down, we started upstairs to her room to chill.

I went up first, and just about when I've reached the top of the stairs, she comes in sight at the bottom, and asks, "What's up?"

And in a rare moment of quick-wittedness, I replied without hesitation, in a cheesy-as-hell voice, "I am!!"

Then added with even more self-satisfied cheese, "What's down??!!!" c:

Sandra was not impressed, and went all faux-pissed-off mode to make that known. I was gleeful.

What happened??? I'm so scared to read now. This might be the opposite of my ao haru ride reaction.

nothing super concrete... but it's looking strongly toward shishio now. im just disappointed cause she was doing SO WELL with mamura i think she should have just sucked it up and stayed with him =/ 

i really need to catch up with ao haru ride but i feel like i cant remember most of it, besides what was in the anime

edit: here is EXACTLY what happens if you wanna know (assuming you read up the the chapter before the latest)

mamura tells suzume that she still loves shishio and she needs to go to him and think about things/sort out her feelings or whatever. she leaves okinawa and arrives at the hospital. the chapter ends as soon as she and shishio see each other

PS i just realized this list is focused so much more on western stuff or action anime characters but noooo shoujo characters at all Q_Q where is the shoujo love. and have any warriors cats been typed? i bet not. who even does the typing. these can't be canon. but it's still fun let's roll with it anyway.

You're breaking out in a sweat!!!!!

I brought my dance pad and some of the PS2 games to Sandra's place, and earlier tonight, we broke out Dance Dance Revolution Supernova and did some serious playing. Holy shit, I'm so much less in shape than during my glory days, haha. However, it was lots of fun! Each of us alternating playing a song each turn, sweating like hell. It had been months since last hitting a dance pad, but I'm not all that bad considering, yay. Sandra's getting in some nice improvement, too! Doing things like putting in five tries in a row to pass DoLL on Basic--gotta respect dat determination. And playing today also got me wondering: with a little clever game design and branding, perhaps DDR may have (or more pessimistically, could've had) a real chance at getting big here in the US. Dance music now actually has some legitimate widespread cultural clout--even in mainstream pop--so maybe a wisely-curated selection of EDM, dubstep, and beat-heavy pop hits to step to would be an appealing prospect. Though admittedly, that could just be a personal pipe dream...
