With Lee Majors playing Jeff Tracy, it makes it clear that the Thunderbird launch countdown in TAG isn’t voiced by him. As we know, it’s taken from the classic series.

So I’ve decided in my headcannon that it’s Grandpa Tracy doing it.

omg is that the film where lava flows down the streets but like, never spills over the pavements?

Yes. Yes it is. It is also the one where the speed of lava is “whatever is narratively convenient” with absolutely no respect for incline. 

Also all the actual lava footage they included was at least 2.5 speed. It is... more viscous than that. If your lava acts like water you’re wrong.

Dante's Peak is a good Volcano movie.

Dante’s Peak is an excellent volcano movie. I love it. Don’t get me wrong, its science is terrible, but at least they’re consistent.

Meanwhile we’ve got Volcano over here like “Hmmm... what  kind of eruption? Plinian! No, Strombolian! No, Hawaiian! All at once!”

Also there was zero continuity with the ash thing and it irritated me. At least in Dante’s Peak when it gets dark it stays dark (as it should). 

Also also at the end of Volcano when it starts to rain and they’re all standing there covered in ash and laughing? Did somebody say chemical burns?

This one is a sentimental favourite, as one of the first pieces that I learnt to play that I actually enjoyed. It’s really nice and just, super dramatic and fun to play.

😡 something that makes you mad

people not doing things that they have said that they were going to do, brushing off plans at the last minute. ants in the kitchen. when i spill apple juice on the tv remote.

👽 ever seen a ufo?

anything is a ufo if you’re bad enough at identifying stuff. less nowadays than before, because i know about more stuff than i used to. honestly though can i use “people misidentifying ufos/misusing the term” for the question above? because it is one of those weird semantic nerd things that bother me probably more than it should. 

*singsong* as soon as you ‘identify’ it as a ufo it ceases being unidentified

please don’t use ufo as a catch all when you really mean flying saucer/spaceship. it bothers me.

☄ seen a shooting star?

so many. a couple times when i’ve been hiking, a couple of times on the beach at night. there are some really good dark sky places within a half hour drive of where i live now and i don’t get to them as often as i can but oh the stars. the stars nibs.

✈️ place you want to travel

iceland has been at the top of the list for a while and i’m actually going there this year (!!!) after that i’m not sure? my sister just came back from south america and the galapagos, which i am super jealous of (GALAPAGOS). after that i would also love to go to the uk? because i know some really cool people who live there who i would love to catch up with.
