not to be a dick, but people who think jensen is actually homophobic should either have a really shit opinion of jared and misha too (for being close and friendly with a homophobe) or they can just admit that the jensen has been uncomfortable with de**iel for years, especially when it mutated into co**les rpf being shoved into his face, like maybe if some people stopped being gross with actors in real life and keep fanon shit in fandom spaces, none of this would ever be an issue

well, I wouldn't say he was a homophobe but he has DEFINITELY expressed any gay support quietly enough that when he's said and done some things in the past that are questionable he made homophobes in the fandom very happy+comfortable insisting he is on their side. I will say I dressed up for pride+was in the center-front row of a con+his lgbt support has been nonexistent enough that I was sweating a little that he might say or do something mean- I didn't know how he felt, because he never said.

Granted, I don't follow every con/watch every interview, so I could be missing something, but it seems like every time he's been "homophobic", it's been in direct response to someone hounding him about Destiel. He's said what he's said on the subject, his answers haven't changed, and yet people keep coming back with the same questions as though theirs is the time he's going to break and go, "Yes! Yes! You get it!" It's been enough that I think he gets wary any time the preface of the question even might lean in that direction. I don't think he's homophobic so much as he's tired of being harassed about a fandom interpretation of his character with which he doesn't agree.

That said, I'm sorry you felt uncomfortable in that situation =(.

For real, I left SPN around season 8. I could not take the lack of respect and bullshit they kept heaping on Cas. Investing in a show like this was exhausting. I tuned in Thursday because someone warned me. And I fucking knew this was what they were going to do. They’re really gonna close the show like this, without him. Going out like that. As an accessory to Dean’s pain. Again. I’m glad this shit is over. Jfc.

It's honestly ruined a lot of the show for me. I'll watch the last two episodes, cause they're the last two, you know? I've been invested too long not to, but I'm not happy in the least. It's straight bullshit.

I'm doing well, all things considered. Life's going well, and I'm pretty much just chilling through this pandemic (although my unemployment'll run out near the end of the year, so need to get on the job hunt since I likely won't be asked back to mine until at least the spring).

Ugh, I am not happy in the least with SPN. This last season has been all over the map, and, needless to say, I was really not happy with the last episode, but I've got enough rants and reblogs about it going. To distract, I've been falling back to my comfort zone of old: Sirius- and Regulus Black-centric works.

Thanks!  I’ve only got Chicago ahead of me thus far as far as marathons go.  I ran four in one year between November 2018 and November 2019, so I feel like I’m slacking, hahaha.

I also recently registered to become part of the Seven Continent Club, so while I could do LA, part of me feels like I should be putting my resources into finding events on other continents, even though it’s completely open-ended sjdfhsjldf

Not stupid at all.  It’s an extension on xkit called One-Click Reply (pretty sure.  Might be reply viewer).  It works like this:

That is definitely a goal!  I’ve got North America and Europe done, and I’ll get Asia while trying to complete the World Marathon Majors (Tokyo).  Just need to figure which marathons I want to do in Africa, Australia, and South America =D.

I also need to get a lot better at running.  I am so fucking slow sdfgksdhf.
