it is, for better or worse, not an edit 😬😂 it’s totally real, but I seem to remember there was some kind of fandom hubbub over it like some of the older fans said he was embarrassed by it and not to post it? but everyone tends to post it anyway on the 4th of July. I don’t post it because it’s a little cringe and I feel like I agree with Froy if he didn’t like it. 😬🇺🇸

i was gonna comment this on the new chapter but i didn’t wanna seem shady, i really loved chapter 9 & i’m extremely excited for 10! i don’t really understand where some of those comments were coming from? i can’t tell if they were reading too much into it or not paying enough attention. oh well, i hope that they don’t discourage you too much. you’re still a great writer, i hope you know that!

Thank you so much. I wish you would be shady on main so that I don't have to, but I still appreciate the sentiments. Lmao. Honestly, it was extremely irritating in the moment, but I'm just gonna let it slide. It would be crazy for me to decide not to write the final chapter just because a few people somehow managed to misinterpret it. I write for myself and I publish for the people who enjoy it. I honestly have no idea where those thoughts were coming from either. It seems like a very non-controversial chapter to me, and totally in character. So whatever. I'm gonna take the high road and just not reply to every comment, which I normally do. I don't get it, so I'm not gonna wade in. There are plenty of wild fics out there that deserve harsher scrutiny, but don't get it. Either because people enjoy it or they just shut the fuck up. This is the first time I've realized sometimes less comments/no comments are better, I guess. Lmao. Anyway, I appreciate those who support my writing. It's really nice. Thanks again! 💜

Thank you! I randomly decided to re-read it, because I wasn't feeling the vibe of writing Deaf Group, and ended up writing the new chapter almost entirely in one go. It shouldn't be too long before I continue it. I'd like to have the whole thing written by the end of the year, if not sooner. We'll see how it goes. 😉💜
