I really like Nice Hooves, but I always forget about them. Maybe it’s because of all the attention The Armed gets for trying to avoid attention. This record was recorded at the same time and by some (all?) of the same members that recorded The Armed’s Untitled. The vocal melodies on this song are sick.

Random Start: Nice Hooves - “Play Jazz”

I find underthegunreview and it’s founder insufferable, so I don’t even understand how this chain of events even happened. Maybe after a few years of ignoring their site I wanted the opportunity to scoff at them one last time. Instead, I was introduced to Nice Hooves, a band that features pretty much every member of The Armed (both released new records last year and they were recorded almost simultaneously by Kurt Ballou). Anyway, thanks, UTG, for the one time you had a decent opinion on something. This is my favorite song off of the previous album from Nice Hooves.
