i cant explain how refreshing it is to have a PROTAGONIST not be afraid of being cunning, conniving, and intimidating

kdramas are plagued with the good guys getting walked all over by the bad guys, and even with all of this show’s problems i am seriously so happy that they’re doing this. if saya turns out evil i’ll be crushed. although if we get a love triangle ill be crushed anyway because joongki literally can’t win. side note props to the makeup team for making eunseom look so haggard and saya looking so healthy and fresh 

and wow that scene with tagon becoming the leader was brutal, they really cooked a guy. sucks that the poor guy woke up just a smidge too early

this episode was fantastic until that stupid wahan bit...i remember how annoying it was to hear the wahans blame eunseom for all their troubles back when they were trapped and about to be beheaded. and now it’s like great the most insufferable wahan will join the arthdal army...ha ha really creative guys...normally i have a lot of sympathy but for some reason these wahan men really get on my nerves with their woe is me routine and im even angrier that we’re torturing eunseom...i dont get the point of his suffering and i don’t have a lot of faith that there will ultimately be one

though we ended on a high note with tanya and saya...they’re so amazing and i’m hoping so much that both of them end up being good guys...again i would be crushed if saya turned into taealha or something
