monsta x's next english album has like a third of the people involved in writing and producing it as the bts album which means it's going to be about a thousand times better

#we already knew that from the dreaming though #and baby blue #ok im going back and listening to it again i cant wait for april #a lot of the same people are involved in this one too so yay

it's a genuine skill to pull together some of the most selling songwriters and producers in the world and create an album that is genuinely unlistenable

#WHERE did it go wrong #they were always ripping other artists off at the start and it at least sounded good #what happened after bst and save me that made them crash and burn in such an inferno genuinely #i think this is genuinely the worst album i have ever heard #which is really saying a lot considering the absolute depths to which music and kpop and this group is capable of sinking

#the more this movie sits in my memory the less i like it #i mean i guess what i mean is that at the very end when his literal daughter shows up and is like #well you betrayed me but i have to admit you're good at your job and that's what really matters!#it didn't even register to me like it was like yep that would happen in this movie makes sense #which sucks because the leads threw themselves into the roles but yeah #there are a lot of ways this could have been an excellent movie and they didn't take any of them

i think glass is my favorite from woodz's album but it also sounds like it took a decent amount of "inspiration" from hate me by miley cyrus

i'm observing can this love be translated and my two observations are that

1.hiro is an absolute scene stealer

2. hojin is one of the worst male leads i've seen in a while. i genuinely hate how manipulative and annoying he is. i know he's just abusing his role as a translator by not translating things correctly bc it's a drama, but it's soooo annoying that he thinks soooo poorly of muhee that he feels like he should protect her all the time.

and i GENUINELY did not understand why hojin was so upset when muhee yelled at him after she delayed her flight to go tell him his brother's fiance broke up with him. like she was telling him she was in love with him? genuinely i don't understand why he was mad... and i'm also bored of this zombie alter ego, like the plot of the "movie" the zombie is from also wasn't explained in any way to us so keeping the alter ego around is just so shallow and boring

#i'm still watching though #it's rough because hojin's line at the aurora was so nice and there are really genuinely nice moments #at this point i really only care about hiro!#can this love be translated #kdrama
