Well since I haven't done something like this in a while . . . Why not.
I am currently obsessed with The Magnus Archives (in case you couldn't already tell by the amount of posts I have reblogged)
I've had three leg lengthening surgeries
I crochet. I'm currently working on a sweater using baby alpaca yarn in the color "fog heather"
Food Crimes: what about shoving a clove of garlic into a candy bar made from chocolate with cream chocolate chunk filling
absolutely sounds like something I'd do
Do you have an ao3?
Yes! But I do a terrible job at managing it, I always post on tumblr (from the phone is easier) and then I forget to post on ao3 too ugh; most of my fics are here and not there.
Anyway it’s LydeNicoKITE (the name is horrible but I can’t find a new one aidhdj Nico di Angelo middle school fans who became Nicolò di Genova stans where are you), on my pinned post the link to the first chapter of the yt au should bring you to ao3! Thank you for all the likes🥰🥰
Favourite Shazam movie scene?
if i didn't say the shazamily transformation, i'd be lying to myself. not just bc we get to finally see all those rumored cast members make their official appearances, but also bc it's such a moment of billy's growth, how he came to see these other kids as family rather than nuisances. i mean, the whole thing could have just not worked, he could have failed to share his powers with his foster siblings. but it did work because he genuinely grew to care about and love them like they're his family, because they are his family.
and then there's also the fact that freddy immediately starts to fly bc he always believed he was able to and if that doesn't bring a tear to your eye, you're heartless
(also yes the casting for the adult shazamily is absolutely phenomenal, even if they did kinda racially botch the casting of adult pedro. but it's fine bc dj is hot and he absolutely nails pedro's shy, bashful-ness.)
this is the first time i've seen you in 2 weeks on my dash dude, where were you? also, kaelyn here, i change my url lol
if u wanna see me more turn on notifications thats how you get quality harry content like me bullying my friends
Hello and happy STS!! How did you ‘learn’ to write? Classes? Books on writing? Simply reading great books? Which method did you find the most transformative?
Happy STS! And a very good question, I like it!
I’ve always been a huge bookworm which I feel like about 99% of writerblr can say. I think reading amazing books from a young age definitely helped, but there’s something to be said for how much I reread books. I’d fly through the story, put it down again and come back to fly through it again, despite knowing exactly what was going to happen. I loved re-reading books, and maybe that helped me pick up some sick writer skillz
In terms of actually learning to write - just... sitting down to write was what helped the most. I started out on Wattpad for... maybe five years? Writing anything and everything I could think of, seeing what I liked. It started out as weird hybrid fiction, where I’d use my friends as characters, and eventually evolved.
I’m now three full-length novels down the line and honestly - just writing is the best way to learn to write.
