Trader Joe's remains my favorite place to shop. Even when they're busy, they're always really accommodating. I had been trying for four days to get there, and decided that I could make it tonight and avoid the crowds. It wasn't crowded, but the ground chicken was gone. That's beside the point. I had three people helping me at checkout so I could sit on my rollator and relax. The woman who helped me out asked if I was going to have help at home to get the groceries inside. "Maybe. We're in the process of moving, so he might be exhausted." "Oh, I hope it's a good move." "Sadly, it isn't. The owner is selling and we're moving from what we consider our home to a place half the size." "Well, perhaps it will be a transitional place and you'll end up somewhere even better." "That's what I'm hoping!" Then she told me to not leave yet. She ran inside and came back out with a little bunch of flowers. And damn it, I'm a sap who totally cried. #traderjoes #nicepeoplerule #bestcustomerservice #whenpeopleaskhowimdoingitellthetruth #betterhonestthanpolite
