Today I swam laps here, in this beautiful pool! I think I came in the hours after morning/afternoon swim lessons and before evening family swims. Had a lane all to myself! #nicetiming #lapslapslaps #marathontraining #marathoncrosstraining (at Webster Aquatic Center)

Rainbow's cocky smirk had soon faded as Twilight had kissed along her jaw, her eyes sliding half-shut and the fingers in her feathers sending shivers down her spine. The wait between the librarian whispering to her and then actually kissing her was almost agonising, the hot breath on her lips shutting her mind down completely.

Originally, the athlete had shown up as a sort-of joke. Twilight had always seemed so out of reach, even out of her league; there was no way in hell that Rainbow could have forseen this actually happening. But hoo boy, she was glad it did.

Her response to the kiss was instant - she was never one to wait around; Rainbow kissed back just as hard, one hand splayed against Twilight's upper back in between her wings and the other tangled in her hair.

Getting a mischievous idea, the athlete ran her fingertips around the alicorn-human's wingjoints, smirking into the kiss as she did so. 

Wings were sensitive enough as it was, and Rainbow knew fine well that Twilight was new to hers...
