Does Nichet’s life ever get better? I he’s fictional and shouldn’t care too much, but darn it I want him to have a happy life. : (

uhhhh as much as i think about this the answer is probably not. his family is poor. he is poor. his inventions and works is the only thing that provides his family significant amounts of money so that they don’t go homeless or starve. even if he gets away from his mom (and his siblings) he’d still have to constantly be working so he can live, since he’d probably not have a job otherwise
