Is it sad that I’m making north cling on to the hope that Jack’s alive by spreading his story so even if he did die, maybe a small part of him through belief will live. 

Also totally not related something I feel like we could be using a lot more is the mirror from the legend of the snow queen. Like maybe pitch has been experimenting with a little bit of dream sand and that he had managed to get and made a mirror out of it. Pitch found a way to make it into glass or something. I don’t know.

So anyway, I’m just gonna put these totally not important bits next to each other…

HiJack AU - Rise of the Guardians Plotbunnies

Because I have so many WIP fics, I really shouldn’t dare write more unless they’re oneshots. But since I made some sets for the Httyd then I only thought it fitting to make on for Jack’s movie too. 

If anyone wants to use this to write their own fic, I don’t mind. Just lemme know and credit I guess. If I end up making it too, well, I’m allowed to hahaha

Hiccup and the others are, what is considered to be called, “Guardian aides”

Hiccup - Aster’s aide (decided for Hiccup to be Aster’s aide, since I think of him as an artist and in most modern AU I’ve read, he’s sometimes an art student or it’s his main hobby)

Jim - North’s aide (despite his personality, with child Jim in the start of his own movie, you do see that his eyes are filled with wonder and amazement of things)

Astrid - Thiana’s aide (Tooth’s job is to safeguard the memories of Childhood, something important for a person’s development and needs to be protected. Astrid is a solid defender, brave and bold

Dimitri - Kozmotis’s aide (previously, before he became Pitch Black. He can’t be a “Guardian” by name, but he does the job)

Jamie - Sandy’s aide (of course, even though Jamie is aged up here, you remember how his kid personality is like. Imaginative child. So of course, he’s a good fit for Sandy.

In this AU, the “Guardians” are like gods, in a sense, but not really. Just the best way to explain it. 

Supernatural realm and Human realm barriers.

In other words, they do their duties of being a guardian. 

North - prepares for Christmas

Aster - prepares for Easter

Tooth - collect memoires

Sandy - pleasant dreams 

But they’re unable to go to the human world themselves. That’s what their aides are for.

Dialogues

North: Jack Frost.

Aster: I take it back... The groundhog is fine.

Jim: Well then, *smirks and nudges Hiccup* Someone’s happy

Hiccup: *blushes* Shut up...

Astrid: *Shrugs, and idly shifts her axe from one hand to another* Well, as long as he does his part in caring for the children...

Tooth: And Hiccup’s going to be motivated more than ever now too.

Hiccup: Lady Thiana, please!
