It’s time for action I have to speak up about this. @nationalballet 7 days of silence and NOW you post? The answers were there in your silence and waiting. @kain.karen @christopherstowell @barryhughson @catherinerchang @aharaburda we can truly do better. I am expressing my pain and you guys need to take better action than an Instagram post. Not a single email from any of you. This is the pain I’ve experienced since the minute I walked into the door. Nobody can take my experiences away from me. If nobody will speak up about how off this is. I will. WE NEED YOUR DIRECT SUPPORT AND ACTION. Your silence is hurting your black dancers. Many many many others dancers in other companies have come to me in pain. I speak for those who are afraid of speaking up. I have your back brothers and sisters. We have to be the change he we wish to see in the world. Have a blessed day. And I pray to God everyone who sees this opens their eyes a bit more. There is ALWAYS room for growth. But hesitation is very telling in where you stand... AGAIN. I am NOT the only one and this is NOT the only company. #SPEAKUP #BLACKLIVESMATTER #blackmentalhealthmattersTOO @mobballet @cnn @thetorontostar @globeandmail @vanessacraft @iabdinc @calvinroyaliii @erica_lall @lourdesmcb @balletwest1 @houstonballet @sfballet @petboal @oneubert1 @gennadinedviginofficial @ashleybouder @christophercharlesmcdaniel @dancetheatreofharlem @pointemagazineofficial @dancemagazine @dancespiritmagazine
