You hear muffled screaming. It is me, having listened to A song and having had An Idea that will not leave me alone but I do not have the time to sit down and actually write it...

So "One of your girls" came on shuffle and I cannot help but imagine a fic where Illya is hiding a secret and Napoleon being nosy investigates and finds out that he does drag (and can you imagine how hot she'd be omggggg) and Illya thinks that Napoleon is straight cause he has terrible gaydar (Napoleon being a serial womanizer etc). Cue misunderstandings until Napoleon convinces him that he wants Illya whether she's in drag or no...

A week or so ago I forced my best friend to sit down and watch tmfu with me and I stopped at all the important moments and pointed things out that they would’ve missed if they hadn’t been watching with me - a seasoned scholar.

Now, they’re a writer and a nice side effect of this is that I can use them to fix my plots now. 😌 in other news, I might actually get around to that rowing AU I’ve been mentally trying to write for a year now.

little writing update on this rainy Thursday: I impulsively started a new draft of the rowing AU on Monday (? because I fixed a plot hole thanks to my former coach/now fellow crewmate/best friend. I made them watch the movie and then explained the AU to them and was like, 'how do I do this?' and they were like, 'easy. do this.'

So I'm also having them read the draft cause we love rowing stories.

I will however need one or two non-rowers to read this for me and tell me if it makes sense with all the rowing gibberish we throw around. If you are interested at all in that, let me know.

That being said, watching Horse TikTok again makes me want to write a show-jumping AU, and I need to control myself.
