The first track on my record label’s Fall Collection mixtape is by Nick Bernal of Burn All Books. 

There's something about Nick's readings that kind of hypnotizes you and draws you into a world that's both tripped-out and relatable. 

Another reason I love the stuff Nick records is he's got a great mind and because of that what he tells you in these pieces is relistenable like the best pop songs.

Which isn't to say this stuff is anything like pop but ... well, maybe it's pop for some of us, those who are listening the right way.
