I have a new zine! And it's a split zine with one of my favorite people, Jonas!

Shouting at Seagulls is an imaginative zine project by Jonas and Alex Wrekk that tells parts of a story through postcard correspondence between two characters, Joni and Cassie. Postcard-sized snapshots between Joni and Cassie show a playful friendship, thoughts on growth and aging, reflection on their past, and a bi-coastal distaste for seagulls.

My audio book label Hello America Stereo Cassette is slowly turning its website into a magazine with columns, articles, literary news, and interviews.

First Trip of the Year: Chicago - New Year's Zine

I took so many pictures from all the trips last year and you didn't get to see hardly any of them! Sometimes I completely forget to take pictures and end up with random bits that don't have anything to do with the main reason for the trip.  I'm gonna try to do better this year, I promise.  Next trip, I mean.

Brooklyn, Iowa is the "Community of Flags" but not the good kind.  I propose we all move there and make it the city of black flags.  Who's with me!!!  I can't afford the real Brooklyn and it's kind of a shithole.

If your city has trains, a ferry, aerial cable tram, or any other sort of transit us midwesters don't have access to, we want to do an event in your city and make use of these services for time-killing fun.  We're simple folk.
