Brian Eno - Dead Finks Don't Talk

Brian Eno is just like Ryuichi Sakamoto - a mysterious presence on many posts I have made and they have some similarities. They both started as members of highly influential bands and Mr. Eno is also as prolific as Mr. Sakamoto. However, Mr. Eno did not begin his solo career in parallel to his group’s, he recorded his debut after abandoning Roxy Music and as far as I’ve seen it was an acrimonious split. No wonder that Mr. Eno decided to do this cheeky send up of Bryan Ferry on Here Come The Warm Jets that wouldn’t sound out of place on the early Roxy Music album. Ferry and Eno have patched things up since then, although I assume they don’t play that tune when they meet.
