Living In Gratitude
A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which read, “I am blind, please help.” There were only a few coins in the hat – spare change from folks as they hurried past. A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. Then he put the sign back in the…

Intro to EFT
During the course of our lives, we accumulate a lot of hurts and disappointments. Comment that cut deep, rejections, failures. Little things and big things we carry with us that make us subconsciously afraid to try, to love, to dream big. EFT can help neutralize these old pains and fears, bringing relief and a better quality of life.
If you’ve never heard of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also known as tapping, it’s a really great tool to learn. It basically involves using your fingertips to tap on specific meridian points on the body to neutralize negative energy. I know, it sounds strange. I was skeptical too, at first. After watching a video of EFT founder Gary Craig helping someone completely get over their intense fear of water in about an hour and then videos of him helping Vietnam war vets with severe, long-standing PTSD, I was convinced to give it a try. Now I use it on everything: fear of change, stress, lack of motivation, procrastination, pain. The results are sometimes remarkable, sometimes subtle, but there is almost always some measure of relief according to the Subjective Units of Distress Scale or SUDS. Before tapping, you rate the emotion on a scale of 0 to 10 and then check in after a few rounds. Usually, this number will have come down significantly. The wonderful thing is that EFT is free, easy to use and can be applied to pretty much anything that is bothering you. And you can’t get it wrong.
This is just a short introduction. I will get into some of the finer details (setup statement, different aspects, ideas on what to tap on, how to write a tapping script) in later posts. Keep in mind that while anyone can use EFT on themselves, if you have major trauma, it is a good idea to work with a licensed practictioner.
To learn the actual technique, I will leave the floor to Brad Yates, a great tapping resource. He has a ton of free YouTube videos you can tap along to. You’ll be up and running in minutes!

Tapping video on the pressure of dieting
If you've ever looked at a peace of food and thought "I shouldn't eat that," even when you wanted to, then you know the stress and pressure that comes with choosing what foods to eat and what not to eat in our diet. For most people, trying to maintain a healthy diet is a constant struggle that brings with it a lot of every day pressure. My sister Jessica recorded a great video where she shares how Tapping can help you with the stress and pressure around eating a healthy diet, whether it be for shedding pounds, maintaining a healthy we*ght, or just for overall health. In the video she also has a great tapping sequence where you can tap along with her to help you with any pressure you may be dealing with around food and dieting. I think that after tapping with her, you'll feel a little more relaxed. :) You can see it here:

All TRUTH passes through THREE STAGES. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being SELF-EVIDENT.
