I like to think Kevin and Nicky are "Platonic Husbands". Like they're not in an actual relationship, they're just the "Good Best Friends with Benefits"
So we have Nicky, who's currently taking care of the twins after moving out of Germany
Meanwhile Kevin lives with Wymack and Abby
Nicky and Kevin both met during the cousins first year, and immediately Nicky's in love
He always flirts with Kevin at any chance he gets
Kevin finds the flirting quite flattering, but at the time he never though he'd like guys
At one point, Kevin thought, maybe he liked guys, so he took those online "What's my sexuality?" tests
His results were bisexual, Kevin sees this and immediately recoiled
He doesn't know what to do, is this true? No, it's a stupid test (Cue the internalized biphobia)
But as a few days go by, Kevin realizes as he sees all of his teammates
Oh shit maybe I do like guys as well?
But Kevin's still clueless about this, so he decides to experiment
The first person that comes to mind is Nicky because he felt like Nicky would help him out
Nicky almost freaked out but was willing to help
Kevin: I think I like guys and I wanna experiment with you
Nicky: *almost losing his shit* Yeah sure
First they start of with kissing, and overall Kevin thinks he's a good kisser
They would have these hook-ups when no one's watching and when their practically the only ones there
Sometimes they would go beyond kissing and get freaky but only on rare occasions
Since then they would get close with each other
Nicky is the only one who basically listens to all of his history rants (Andrew thinks he's wasting his time doing so)
They would even watch shows together like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and Star Wars and Kevin would rant about them forever
Some times they watch historical shows for Kevin enlightenment even though he's gonna call out all the inaccuracies
They talk about about their personal issues, for instance, Kevin tells Nicky about his girlfriend problem and Nicky tells him about his relationship with his parents
It eventually gets to the point where Kevin starts catching feelings for him but he tries to put the down because Nicky's probably not into the whole "relationship" stuff
He tries to manage but he still feels sad about it
Fast forward to when Neil joins the crew, Kevin and Nicky had gotten even close to the point where the others think something is up
The Foxes ended up taking bets to see if their dating or not (Andrew and Neil don't care at all, meanwhile Aaron's like WTF?)
Fast forward again to when Nicky's parents invites them over for an early thanksgiving dinner (D**ke doesn't exist)
Kevin knows the shit Nicky's parents put him through and wonders why the fuck he's still giving them a chance
Kevin wasn't impressed by the things Nicky's parents said, it almost felt like the whole dinner was just a waste
It eventually ends with Andrew and Neil humiliating Nicky's parents (good for them) and them simply leaving

Nicky's extremely bummed out after wrapping things up with his parents
So while the others went to bed, Kevin and Nicky decided to stay up a little and talk about it while sitting in the living room
Nicky just goes all in, balling his eyes out, sobbing on Kevin's shoulder, telling him everything because he just couldn't help it
Kevin just sat there and listened to everything he has to say
They enjoyed some peace together before going to bed
On Thanksgiving, while Andrew and Neil were on a little date and Aaron goes to spend time with Katelyn, Kevin and Nicky were alone at Kevin's
They watched a bunch of bad CGI shark movies (because why not) while eating pizza and drinking beer
They even talked about random things here and there like there highschool years and what not
Kevin has prepared for this moment to tell Nicky how he feels, and is ready if Nicky rejects him
So when Kevin does tell Nicky how he feels, Nicky is just straight up flabbergasted
Kevin: I know this might sound weird but, every since we started hooking up I started to feel things, like I want us to be more than just "friends with benefits" or whatever you call it, but i'm assuming that's not how you thought it would end up being
Nicky: Oh, I uh... It's-It's ok, I also wanted something this with you
Kevin: Really? I, um... Ok...
Nicky: Ok
Kevin:
Nicky:
Nicky: Wanna kiss?
Kevin: Sure
So it's now official that their together, but they kept it a secret so no one knows
Eventually at one point, they got so drunk in front of the foxes and just started making out
They didn't even know it happened until Allison told them about it (because of course it was Allison)
Kevin and Nicky: We weren't that drunk
Allison: You both started kissing
Kevin and Nicky:
Kevin and Nicky: Oh shit
Kevin and Nicky were both shocked but they didn't care anymore
Kevin told his parents and they were supportive
Andrew and Neil are like:
Aaron was bamboozled because that's just Aaron
Matt suggested a double date with them and Dan
And since then they were pretty much comfortable with each other
They would go on museum dates, study together, you know, typical quirky relationship things
And fast forward to when they graduated, they move in together, they get married, adopt 2 dogs, a Corgi and a Pomeranian
I like to think when they do get married, they wear matching gold bands that say "To me, you are Perfect."
