Verity was yet to share the news about her pregnancy with her closes family in town. Granted it was still early, she figured if someone deserved to know it would be her uncle. He had, after all, taken care of her when her own parents couldn’t (or more like wouldn’t). Giving the doorbell to his house a ring, she waited in hopes that he would answer.
