The other Seasons talking about Nick. Frankie is yellow. Tommy is white. Bobby is blue.
“I hope I never see Tommy again. If I do I’d probably fall in love with him.”
Rob leaned forward on the couch, looking over at Nick when he said that. He was quiet for a while, as much as his brother denied he knew Nick’s eyes were only for Tommy. Still Nick never talked about how he felt about, well, anything. This wasn’t exactly the time to brush him off.“If that’s what you want.” He shrugged suddenly adopting his older brother’s attitude. He really needed more time with Phil, apathy wasn’t his style.

“it’s my turn to pick the movie!” bobby says, snatching the remote out of frankie’s hand. the younger of the two pouts, before leaning over to get the remote back. bobby tries to fight him off, but to no avail - frankie always has been a stubborn s.o.b. when he doesn’t get what he wants.
standing in the open kitchen, watching them, tommy shakes his head, smiling fondly into his cup of hot cocoa - a beverage all four will usually have on movie night. nick suddenly appears behind him, arms wrapped around his waist, lips brushing a quick, slightly stubbly kiss to the back of his neck.
“we’re married to two children,” he mumbles softly. tommy lets out a soft laugh.
“speak for yourself, mr. ‘i like to dress like a princess on occasions’.” he says. he can feel nick frown.
“you said i looked good in that belle costume,” he says. tommy sighs, turning in nick’s embrace.
“you did,” he says, reaching up to run a hand through nick’s quickly growing brown locks. “the beauty to my beast.”
“more like gaston,” nick says. tommy shakes his head, but accepts his kiss nonetheless.

You're so quiet recently. That's not like you.
The eighteen year looked up from the book, he was looking at, not reading. He was somewhere else.Still Nick’s voice caught his off guard, his cheeks pink. “Ah sorry, I haven’t been much for talking points. Trying to keep all the college information in my brain.”“It is me.” He frowned for just a second before quickly burying his head back into the book.
Nick/Colette, "If you want, we could go together?”
To have family in town was not something completely alien to Colette, her mother and her sisters came up often enough and used Colette's tiny apartment as a homing point for their sight seeing expeditions, and this time they brought cousins with them and turned it into a regular family reunion type shindig but tried to pass it off as something other than what it was and she was dreading it with every fiber of her being. She tried not to worry about it, but she knew the aunts and great aunts and people who were some how related to her were going to come out of the wood work, and tell her she looked just like her father who had died the year prior and she still wasn't really over it and didn't want to talk about it, but that didn't matter to women like them. So, she did the best she could to avoid her family and she tried to pretend like she had forgotten, but naturally they were blowing her phone up and she couldn't ignore them forever.
Being in a dark bar with a friend as entertaining as Nick Massi should have been enough to put anyone in a good way, but it seemed her family being pests were enough to even take the shine out of having drinks with the man from Jersey. As she aggressively flipped the sound off on her phone she downed the rest of the whiskey in front of her and shook the glass at the bartender, her companion looking concerned, “My family is in town; they're the devil and I'm supposed to be meeting them at some restaurant bar thing for cocktails and life advice and I am avoiding it at all costs.” She hadn't been home since she left for work this morning, she took clothes with her to change into because she knew she was going to find somewhere else to be other than where she was supposed to be.
She expected some sort of either glancing blow like he didn't really care, or that he would be like her coworkers and just tell her to suck it up, but neither was the case. “If you want, we could go together?” She looked up like he was speaking another language as he spoke, cocking her head to the side she smiled at him, “You sure?” She asked, wrapping her small hand around the rocks glass as it was set in front of her, she waited for him to rescind the offer, having rethought it considering what she'd told him about the crazy women in her family. “Well, if you're sure.” She smiled, tossing the rest of her drink back and paying up with the bar, getting his drinks for him being a hero and taking one for the team in this.
As they walked several blocks up to greet her family, she wrapped her arm around his. “Thank you for this, I owe you one.” She leaned up on her toes and kissed his cheek before taking a breath, and opening the door. “Welcome to Hell.” She said with a fake smile and a deep breath; before she turned to greet the first nameless relative who converged on them; it was going to be a long night but at least she wasn't alone.
