“...You are our sweetheart and we love you to the moon and back!” - Princess Madeleine
Born on June 15th, 2015 at 1:45 pm at Danderyd Hospital in Sweden weighing 6.7 lbs, HRH Prince Nicolas Paul Gustaf, Duke of Ångermanland, is currently eighth in line to the Swedish throne.
At nearly four months old Nicolas was christened in a beautiful, intimate church service on the third anniversary of his parent's engagement.
Little Nicolas has proven to be the calmer, quieter child of Princess Madeleine and Christopher O'Neill's two children, with his mother fondly referring to him as "our sweetheart". The Little Prince is also known to be "a great little guy" according to his uncle. It has been said Nicolas is quite the fortunate prince as he gets lots of love from older cousin Estelle and older sister Leonore, with his grandmother saying “Little Estelle and Leonore take care of him and look after him”.
Nicolas has also gained attention while attending family events as his favorite automatic, light up toothbrush has accompanied him to the christenings of his younger cousins. According to his mother, Nicolas is also a big fan of books. She's predicted he will be "a bookworm" and reports “when you cannot find him... he is curled up in a chair with a little book by himself”. His father has also said Nicolas is fond of “everything that has a motor, he’s completely obsessed with everything related to an engine.”
