Gentle sunlight filtered through white blinds, illuminating the dorm room with a cozy sunday morning glow. Two intertwined figures laid on the bed, half covered by a heavy blanket.
Doppio slowly fluttered his eyes open. Golden hues with an emerald gradient. The magenta haired man let out a groggy croak as he shifted on the bed. His gaze landed on the figure in his arms. You looked just as beautiful as yesterday, if not even more under the influence of the gentle sunlight. Doppio’s strong arms pulled you closer as he buried his face in your hair. Doppio felt you begin to stir and pulled away slightly just enough to see your face. Your eyelashes fluttered open and Doppio could feel the corners of his lips curl up.
“Morning, sleepyhead…”
Doppio whispered. Your eyes shut again, too sleepy to have them open.
“Mor…ning…”
You mumbled. Doppio couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight. The two of you were still half-asleep, especially you. It was adorable, really. Doppio tucked a stray strand of hair behind your ear, letting him admire your face. He leaned in, and pressed a chaste kiss to your lips. Upon the contact, you opened your eyes again and pouted.
“Is… that all?”
You didn’t even give Doppio a chance to respond before you wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss. Doppio reciprocated, cupping your cheek as your lips moved in sync. The kiss was slow and sensual, and a bit messy since you were still half-asleep. Your lips parted for a brief moment before they connected again in a deeper kiss. Doppio’s free hand wandered all over your back as he hummed against your lips. The man was tongue deep in your mouth like he was addicted to it, like it was a drug he couldn’t get enough of. He kissed you, and kissed you, and kissed you, like a tired, starving man who had been deprived of anything.
Doppio pulled back for air. Both of your panted heavily, lips glossy and kiss swollen. Doppio trailed a hand down your arm until he grasped your wrist ever so lightly, lifting it before he pressed his lips against your pulse affectionately. You could practically feel his smirk against your skin. “Is that enough for your morning kiss, hmm…?”
“Mm.” You adverted your gaze as your cheeks heated up. His deep, gravelly morning voice always somehow made you weak. The Duke leaned in and nuzzled his cheek against yours, snickering before whispering by your ear.
“You’re always so so sooo needy… the D stands for desperately needy…”
“Hmph… says you. Now let me go back to sleep…”
The Duke chuckled again as he tightened his strong arms around your waist. “Fiiiine… go back to sleep then, sleepyhead.”
