The Bet: Liam's Plan

It took three days of going through favors to finally get one that would get him a job. The only bad side about using a favor to get a job means that they are less likely to want to fire you. At least that's what Jean told him when he called her. He starts tomorrow and he is getting everything ready. All he needed was to start a little fire on the oil. From there, the water would take care of the rest.  And then, as a back up plan, he's planning on dropping some sodium in a bucket of water. He realized that he doesn't have to, but all the more reason to do it.

He stuffed the matches in his pocket and made sure his uniform looked proper. He would hate to be fired because of something stupid like dress code. 

Twenty minutes tops was his guess. If he got passed longer than that, the manager is a moron.

Ice Cream? [Bennet]

New Zealand brought what he expected it to bring. Mostly nothing. He liked the slowness there but he didn't find film memorabilia all that interesting but he did take something from the Hobbit set for Bennet since she was the one who mentioned it to him. The scenery was something he liked though and he knew that he would come back if he needed to unwind from all of the city life. 

He took a flight to Florida to see his mom, give her a birthday present, and in general just to let her know that he was still alive. His original plan back to New Orleans was to walk like the old days when he was too afraid to steal a car, but he thought that it would be inconsiderate of him to do that with the team waiting. So he took a car and headed home. 

After abandoning the car by the police station, he started toward the indirect route back to base. He figured that he could use a nice nap in his hammock with the dull noise of Criminal Minds in the background. He smiled at the thought, but then he got that feeling that someone was watching him. He tried to tell himself that he was slipping back into his paranoia now that he was home, but his instincts have helped him several times before so why should they lie now. 

He took a sudden turn to glance over his shoulder but couldn't see anyone. Frustrated, he made another turn and this time he thought he saw something familiar. It only took him a minute to realize who it was. He turned around and faced his hitter. 

"Is this your way of reminding me that I owe you an ice cream?"

More Planning (New Orleans Team)

Liam watched Kyles walk through the store noticing how beside the occasional groceries, he would pause ever so often at the cat aisle or pick up Frosted Flakes before putting it back down. He ended up buying a pair of pumas which Liam thought was strange since he never wore those shoes. As he was deciding between two brands of shampoo, Liam took advantage of the crowded aisle and took the notebook from his pocket as he tried to squeeze past him. 

He smiled at his success before leaving the store and getting ready to send a text to the team. As he left he noticed Kyles' car parked far away from everything else. Liam went over there and was surprised to hear the faint sound of a cat. Unable to see it in the car he quickly opened the trunk and found the little cage where the calico cat kept trying to get out. Liam picked up the blue file next to the cage and skimmed it. An orphaned year old cat that was going to be transferred to a new animal shelter in Baton Rouge. This would be Kyles' next victim. Without fully thinking it through, he took the cage and the file and went to where his car was parked. 

He wondered what the others would say to having a new office mate.

Airports

There were times in his life where Liam wished he could stop being paranoid long enough so that he could get a frequent flyer card because he has practically flown all over the globe. By now, he would most likely have a million miles under his belt. 

On this particular day, he was going to Bangkok, or maybe it was Aukland. He couldn't remember. He lies down on a row of empty seats, waiting for the flight that he was just told was delayed. He could careless when when the stupid plane came. He hates flying, especially because there is no means of escape except the one door that could essentially lead to his death. The first time he flew, he has to go skydiving at least four times so that he knew what he was getting into.

He swallows back a pill to ease his nerves and takes a deep breath.
