Wednesday Update.

Mech #22.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhnother one. A little longer than I meant to spend on it, but that time went by pretty quickly and the results are pretty goo.

A weirdly proportioned mech with an “oni” paint scheme and design. Sorta Nidaram-ish? Now on to the last drors. For reals. FOR. REALS.

“Underwater Mech” by Nick Maradin.  I’ve never seen anything quite like it before.

I came back on to fix the queue.  I want to post spooky art through most of October, but at the current rate the robots and vehicles won’t finish posting ’til October 21.

Custom mecha design for the Theos Ke Polemos science fiction world. This is a small scale (6 to 10 feet tall) semi-autonomous unit designed with heavy customization and personalization in mind. It is both a combat-ready bodyguard and an art product ideal for the most conspicuous consumer. This illustration features the "Grasshopper" armor set. This is a medium-range unit with recon drones. The chisel and gun both attach to a universal clamp. The layout of this piece is intended to resemble print ads for mountain bikes and other high-end sports equipment.

A ton of fixes and updates to this design. I also decided to split some optional parts across two versions.

First image (GM Planetarium)  has an added booster arm in the front.

Second image (basic GM Planet) has an alternate backpack fin, shoulder shields, and a collapsed version of the rifle.

Both have some sweet price tags that I made from scratch :)

Unlike all of the other mecha in this series, the GM is the most "Gundam-style," intentionally. However, it has a ton of bells and whistles for taking down those relentless main characters, such as an array of laser emitters on each shoulder, and barrier generators all over its body.
