Reactivation of the tumblin
Dusting off this fossil in order to resume posting anew. It’s been ages since anyone has posted anything here and with Vulne Pro having jumped into the deep end of 3D printing, now’s a good time to return to posting here. Tumblr has had a rather... sketchy time of it (ownership changes and misguided reading the winds of the internets... decisions) so posting here hasn’t been a priority for some time. That said, I’m seeing there’s actually a reasonably sized 3D printing community presence here, so it’s worth sharing the current work Vulne pro has been doing along with prior works. It’ll likely take some time to build any momentum here, but that’s OK, it’s par for the course on the infobahn. Thanks for reading!
An enemy mobile suit appears! Top is a preliminary cleanup drawn in the same perspective as my Gundam and GM. Middle is the original sketch. bottom is a waist area study. A mix of “old grey computers” and angles with contemporary stylings.
Finished for now!
Gundam-style robot with a blocky, retro sci-fi twist.
Each shoulder-mounted planetarium unit has multiple laser emitters that can swivel within their housings to hit targets all around the robot. (Come at me, Newtypes!) The GM Planetarium goes with the Semaphore Gundam unit: fav.me/d585eja
WIP. Wanted to draw a blue robot. I usually always start with a color, first.

Badass cybernetic suit design by Karl Östlund (GenocidalPenguin).
genocidalpenguin's (Karl Östlund) original mecha design that he and I collaborated to adapt into the FOILjaeger Gottheitzerstorer for the Theos KE Polemos project.
Collaboration I did with MeganeRid (Ridwan Chandra).

It's been awhile since anything was posted on the Vulne Pro studio tumblr so I thought I'd share the EBEJEEBIES web comics we did back in 2004. They had a run on Coast to Coast AM.com
Here's the first episode. Doesn't look like it'll display full resolution on tumblr so here's the Deviant Art posting as well.
Cheers!

The badguys.
Inspired by Super Mario RPG, Star Ocean: The Second Story, and many more of my fondest memories playing role-playing games growing up. My goal was to be funny, draw inventive designs with a lot of personality, and be a bit bolder and more unusual with color schemes. Basically, these are the kinds of characters I would make if I was making a mecha-themed fantasy RPG.
