But I think I’d feel bad and just end up not sending any more messages. I mean, if someone was doing that to me, I think I might find it just a tad bit sketchy.
Eh, I’m just not going to worry about it anymore. If she’s put off by it, then she’s put off by it. I’ll get over it. I doubt I ever would have gotten the courage to come off anon anyway.
I thank the powers that be that I decided to check my facebook because if I hadn't, I wouldn't have known that that piece of trash was a Wilson sympathizer, and I would ignorantly still have a crush on him.
We were both raised in environments where racism was around us all the time. My parents are both racist, more-so my father than my mother (not like an extreme racist, but racism is racism no matter how small), but I thank my lucky stars that they both had the sense not to spew that nonsense around me because then I would have ended up just like the trash that that boy is.
Despite that fact though, I am still trying to unlearn a lot of things that growing up in a predominantly white community has taught me. I am still working on unlearning hurtful stereotypes and habits. And someday I will grow to overcome the ignorance that my white privilege has given me and become a better, more understanding person.
But he won't, and he will never grow. He will never be able to shake off his upbringing because he sees nothing wrong with it and that's the problem.
Hi there! From what I've heard you get the hammer in the summer season from the Harvest Goddess. She tells you to go find the blacksmiths, I believe. 😊
I’m in summer and I’m still having no luck with it unfortunately OTL
But I’ll wait it out for a little while longer and see what happens.
It always makes me so happy whenever I go in there, and it reminds me of happy memories with my mama from when I was younger. She loves stuff like this
This got really super long, so Ima put the rest of it under the cut.
Yeah I'm still working as a caregiver, doing home healthcare C:
And dude, totally. I actually moved to a different company that is just better all around. I love my boss (she's super nice and was really cool when I told her that I'm not really good at lifting people, and instead of getting kind of put off by me when I told her what happened at my last job, she was all like 'that's not cool, your boss should have believed you' she's really super nice and I love her~)
I love the people I work for. Atm, I have two clients
If you've ever seen that swiffer commercial with the elderly couple, the husband's name is Morty and idr the wife's name, well I work for a couple who are EXACTLY like them, accents and all. They're super sweet and tell really good stories.
The other lady I work for, she's really super sweet and I really love her a lot! We have so much in common it's unbelievable. She has MS so she's wheel chair bound, but she's really light so she's easy to lift and stuff. I used to work 2 twelve hour shifts with her a week, then it went to 4 4hour shifts a week, and then some stuff happened and all last week and this past Saturday I worked 12 hour days. But now we've got a schedule and I work 6 hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and I work 12 hours on Saturdays, and 14 hours on Wednesdays (she gets her hair done on Wednesdays and then we go out for lunch, we take turns paying)
She's a really sweet lady. She told me that if for some reason I end up getting fired that she demands I tell her where I go to work next so I can still be her caregiver. Her and her family are really fond of me, as I am of them~
She has limited movement in her right hand, so we play a lot of card games and yahtzee (to try and get back movement) and lemme tell you, she has the game juju because she kicks my butt EVERY TIME. I just recently taught her how to play Gin, and the first time we played I went easy on her because I wanted her to get a hang of how the game works, the rules etc. But she kicked my booty, so I was all like 'okay then, I'll play normally' AND SHE STILL DEMOLISHED ME.
It's the same with any game we play, and I think it's freaking hilarious.
I just, I really like this new job, and the people I work for.
I'm still not a fan of working though, but this job/my clients make my days a lot easier~ <3
