Asks about the Alastor and Vox thing.
The Golden Horseshoe by @nigaki
“It’s not a horse, John, you get bucked off and you can fall so far away and from so high you’ll be dead on the spot.”
He understood her concerns, he just didn’t share them. He saw a fella that fell from a centaur once. He didn’t have a chance to get better because the poor bastard fell off so unfortunately he broke his neck like a twig. But that could happen while falling from a horse too. John didn't think he was risking much more than any other day. “I won’t because I’m not going to be bucked off.”
John considered himself good with horses. He spent almost his whole life around them, taming them, teaching them tricks. He fell many times too but this one time when it counted the most, he wasn’t going to. Centaur or not, John wasn’t going to get bucked off. https://archiveofourown.org/works/31946968
Pop off guys, it’s rdr mini-bang time 👌👌 I absolutely leapt at the chance to take on @nigaki‘s centaur piece! (I really love centaurs, ok? 😭) But Nigaki always produces lengthy and touching content which never fails to be an absolute pleasure to read, so I could only hope to try and capture a little piece of the serenity I found in the fic! I hope I was able to do it justice, so please go and give it a read, kudos, and comment because they absolutely deserve it!
I'm worried about Andre, I think he began to understand how to play in Barca but he's doing it too slow. I hope they won't sell him if he ends his first season without any big impact on the team.
But that’s it. If they give him time to adapt he can be great. Because at Valencia he was a fantastic playmaker. Barca has a different system, he needs time. But he has had a few amazing games and i don’t think he will leave this season.
I was today years old when I found out shipping Charlastor is homophobic. I always thought stans hated it because they preferred Al with Lucifer or Vox. We ran full circle. I used to be told I can't ship something because it's gay. Now I can't ship something because it's straight.
And don't you dare try to make excuses like "It's not straight, Charlie's bi and I headcanon Vaggie with eight hot new girlfriends." Viv's standom of committed nonthinkers has decided you're a homophobe and so that's what you are!
Gravity is so good it really makes me wanna see Lute walking with Charlie's head on a spear. Kinda sad when a villain song makes you root for them and not fear for the main character.
I only have two problems with it.
One, the animation looks weird at times. It's honestly such a mess, Lute is all over the place many times, shaking and writhing. I guess it was supposed to be something like metalheads during the concert, but it doesn't look good.
Two, while the song is awesome and well done, it feel like it comes from a completely different show. Because from what was shown to us in season 1 between Lute and Adam, there is no way their relationship from then would cause such raw rage Lute is displaying. It is a rage of someone who lost a lover or another loved one, like a parent, friend or a child, but I will never believe Lute was in love with that dude in season 1, or even that big of a friend of his. They look just like really close coworkers at most.
I can buy that they're friends, I can even buy that they're lovers even though I prefer them not to be, but I agree, that kind of raw, broken rage needed something more behind it. Viv has a terrible habit of filling in the blanks in her own head and getting mad that the audience doesn't see it too (she does it all the time with Stolitz), and I'm gonna need a little more to see the color and light this guy who calls her a bitch brought to Lute's life.
I saw a post excusing Stolas' predatory behavior in mission zero as him not understanding how sex works because he never had enthusiastic, consensual sex in his life. Did that also suddenly make him think "no" means "yes" and "I'm busy at work" means "come here I will rail your birdussy!”?
I didn't have enthusiastic, consensual sex until I was well out of college and I fucking knew that "not now" didn't mean "ask louder." These people will do literally anything but admit this entire grown ass man character's behavior isn't okay.
The lyrics from one of the season 2 songs are "all our guests are family".
Except Pentious, he can get raped, I guess.
It only counts as rape if Viv doesn't find it funny (or sexy.)
It's always funny when Valentino fans clutch their pearsl when you talk shit about him. You chose a villain as your favorite character, grow a fucking spine, people will hate him and wish him death. I'm writing some despicable character right now and whenever people say they hate him I'm like "yeah, he deserves an electric chair, doesn't he?".
And it's one thing when it's fans of Valentino that are being attacked simply for liking him, which happens, but they very frequently do it even when it's Valentino himself being shit talked. It's absolutely insane.
(Looking at you, Norry.)
