So the only downside to this episode was Ralph. I honestly can’t stand him and they do this thing where whenever this grown man is in a snippy mood they have him come at Iris like she’s the source of his problems when that’s not the case and she’s usually going through something too. I hate that they have Iris always taking a verbal beating or never getting to truly defend herself from her “team”. She just takes it. Are you kidding me? I couldn’t be on team flash because I would fight for my queen. Barry would have to put me on a constant timeout because no one is gonna go after Iris if I’m around especially punk ass Ralph. Also I would hassle Caitlin about the fact that she actively tried to kill Iris or at least aid in her murder and never apologized for that although she said sorry to Joe for I don’t know what. She should have aimed that at Cecile the person she kidnapped. Also Caitlin is a trafficker! She worked for Amunet who is a drug dealer & trafficker which makes her an accomplice. She can go to jail.

Honestly she looks so good here and that’s the saving grace of the episode. Iris West-Allen is always going to look hot as heck. Bless! 💜

The last couple of days I've been reading 1860s sewing and patterning manuals, as I've fallen in love with the silhouette again. I was actually planning on remaking an 1880s corset, but instead found drafting instructions for an 1866 corset – I drafted it in an afternoon and am now awaiting the boning and closures to start making toiles.

It's always a struggle for me to pick a decade and stick to it, I always end up falling in love with another time period. Even though I've looked for 1860s books and patterns, the 1840s are winning my heart. After all, I am a romantic through and through so it's only natural that even the fashion of the period would be as moving as the art for me.

I know Cisco didn’t stay with Gypsy but how did he stay friends with Caitlin after her being a fucking dumbass almost got her killed? There’s being reckless with your life and being reckless with someone else’s? I also noticed that they never get Caitlin to say sorry to anyone for the bad things that she does. She really is out here just fucking around and getting people hurt and never facing consequences. I know people like her a lot but she’s badly written, selfish, and reckless. She’s never truly held accountable and isn’t used well. You have to like her character enough to acknowledge that & push the writers to be better.

Plus she keeps getting knocked the heck out in a fight. I also think that what Sunshine said about Frost’s rep in Black Hole… what a farce. When has she won a fight? What has she actually done to gain a reputation?

Caitlin being selfish and bringing in Amunet is the reason why she knows Barry’s identity & can hold it over him. No offense, but that’s the last thing we want from a bad person right? Especially when it’s a hero who doesn’t kill.

Idk how to feel...

I just finished watching Ouron Host Club and have a lot of mixed feelings. On one hand I really enjoyed the show and I thought it was cute with some solid character development but on the other hand the show consistently does something wrong. Haruhi, i think, identifies somewhere on the agender-genderqueer spectrum- they very clearly state that the are biologically female but don't strongly feel attached to either gender, and their gender expression on their own is fluid ranging from masculine to feminine. But many main characters still try to impose feminine stereotypes on her, maker her wear fine clothing in a work like environment and even in one episode tell them that they can't fight because they are biologically female this weaker and in danger. Regardless of the fact that haruhi only joined that fight as a spur of the moment thing to protect two other young women, they were in my option, the right. Haruhi even uses a gender neutral pronoun for themselves. But literally everyone around her berates her for acting anything less than female and it's wrong. Idk all that said I still really like kyoya's genius and honey's badassness and the twins cuz they were great and the show did a good job of establishing their individuality. But I still get frustrated over the gender thing. Haruhi brushes it off but it still kind of sucks for the audience. I mean I still enjoyed it, but I wouldn't hold it up as a perfect or even good representation of nonbinary gender because even though haruhi self identifies as agender they still conform to a lot of the whims of those around them to act more feminine

So my brother saw my new bumper sticker which says "geek inside" and told me to take it off. Turns out (his wife told me) that he thinks it's embarrassing and might repel off "potential suitors" Is he kidding?? First the teeth braces and now this?? Why the fuck are they so worried about me getting married? I don't even wanna get merried anymore. Fuck I don't even think I'm capable of love anymore nor I want to.. There's no one else that I could ever trust or want like I want him...
