So the only downside to this episode was Ralph. I honestly can’t stand him and they do this thing where whenever this grown man is in a snippy mood they have him come at Iris like she’s the source of his problems when that’s not the case and she’s usually going through something too. I hate that they have Iris always taking a verbal beating or never getting to truly defend herself from her “team”. She just takes it. Are you kidding me? I couldn’t be on team flash because I would fight for my queen. Barry would have to put me on a constant timeout because no one is gonna go after Iris if I’m around especially punk ass Ralph. Also I would hassle Caitlin about the fact that she actively tried to kill Iris or at least aid in her murder and never apologized for that although she said sorry to Joe for I don’t know what. She should have aimed that at Cecile the person she kidnapped. Also Caitlin is a trafficker! She worked for Amunet who is a drug dealer & trafficker which makes her an accomplice. She can go to jail.
Honestly she looks so good here and that’s the saving grace of the episode. Iris West-Allen is always going to look hot as heck. Bless! 💜
This is everywhere but it’s how I feel.
Can "Run, Iris Run" be an indicator that truly no one cares for this character at all based on the feedback? I remember when those on set pics came out people hated it and yet the show still went forward with the episode. It's actually the worst rated episode on imdb and tvtime. It's the definition of filler episode and only serves Iris fans, not the rest of the audience. Don't even talk to me about how dumb they made everyone else to prop her up. Why is the show insistent on keeping her character around this long?

You know, if somebody had asked me three days ago who the one person in the world I admired most was, I'd have said you. But without really knowing what that meant and without understanding that the hardest thing about being you is all the things you can't do. All the cries for help that you can't answer and how that quietly tears you apart. But it never stops you. And after living a little of that myself, I realized something. Something that I never thought was possible. I love you more. -- Lois & Clark
You know what makes a great speedster? It isn’t their speed. It’s being the light everyone needs when the world grows dark. It’s the kind of person they are. Kind of person that always wants to help. That’s why being The Flash is your destiny. It’s your way of helping others.
