Hey! I forgot to send this to you earlier but here is my collection of Nightcrawler Volume 4 comics signed by Chris Claremont, Todd Nauck and Rachel Bennett, the 3 people that worked on this series! I got them all signed at this past Comic Con and all three of them were really happy to sign them. Chris Claremont read through some of the comics and talked me me about the series and what it was like to write this series. I ended up buying one of the Lithographs of Nightcrawler from Todd which I submitted to you a few months ago.

Nightcrawler Solo

I couldn’t resist.  Here’s some more.  Anti-Amanda, anti-Christine (though I don’t hate her, she’s just written as a stereotypical bimbo instead of a woman with a brain).

1. Christine, don’t you know it’s rude to ask what someone is thinking about?  Especially when they’re freaking unconscious and near death?

2. With the ever intelligent comments.

3. Nah, he wants you to keep bugging him about everything.  Isn’t that why you “made” him bring you?  

4. Kurt and Stephan call each other “brother” about a hundred times.  We get it already.  You’re siblings.  Which means Amanda is also Kurt’s sister.  You can’t have it both ways, writers.

5. Her eyes are up there, Kurt.

6. Oh, Christine, trust me.  You do not want to go there.

7. Yes, Stephan, with the constantly misspelled name, your brother Kurt thinks your sister Jimaine is beautiful.  It’s called INCEST.

8. WTF?

9. I just...how did she pass nursing school?

10. Maybe she didn’t?

Even freaking Wolverine (remember him, Christine?) knows it’s BAD.

11. How’s that air sickness doing, Christine?  You know, the air sickness that’s the reason you made claustrophobic Ororo ride a subway?

12. I’m not going to make this joke, but I’ll let you all just look at this image and think what I’m thinking.

13. I just....Kurt, you idiot.  You’ve known her for like, 2 weeks.  She’s not a friend for life.  She will literally disappear and never see you again.  Kitty is a friend for life.  Logan is a friend for life.  Ororo is a friend for life.  Christine is not.

14. I hate Amanda Sefton.

15. Thank goodness Nightmare still possesses at least one functional brain cell, because no one else here seems to have any between them.

16. Dude, your mom has lied to you like five kajillion times.  This isn’t surprising.

17. One more good Christine act of idiocy.  Remember Wolverine?  The claws?  And how there’s a demon loose trying to possess someone new?  MAYBE BACK OFF.

Volume 1: Ghosts on the Track

Not as much to annoy me in this one, and I skimmed it mostly.  But there was still some.  For instance...

Oh wait.  So I don’t hate Christine but I also don’t like her.  I hate Amanda but I don’t have any stuff about her in this one, I just can only take so much of her. 

1. So....Kurt likes Opera, but not Broadway?  I think it’s more that he didn’t like Phantom of the Opera because hello, the “ugly” guy loses the girl.  (Okay, the murdery part of him makes him ugly on the inside but I like to refrain from judging people’s outward appearance)

Also Christine, you don’t know crap about Kurt’s childhood, so maybe shut up.

2. Christine, you don’t jump on board a teleport!  You could have died or killed someone!!

3. “I’m a nurse!  If something happened to the conductor” I can help.  

If only that were true, Christine.  Except probably Kurt or literally anyone else on the planet could have figured out this guy is dead.

4. Kurt in a towel because of reasons.

I love how people in the Marvel U have to plan a way not to be brought back to life when planning their suicide.

I love PAD and everything X-Factor, but he should make up his mind on whether or not he's writing Remy with an accent

I do hope there is a point behind showing us Harison Snow and his love triangle

a reasonable Magus in the free market. Could someone go back to the 90's and tell people this would happen?

okay, Warlock I can ship with Danger. But not remy. Never Remy. Robot-like aliens belong together.

why is Gambit's the only POV we get, though? Unless it changes every 5-6 issues, each trade a different character?

Nightcrawler #1:

nice reminder that it's probably only been one year, in Marvel time, since Second Coming, and Kurt's death

I could do with a bit more Kurt-Ororo-Logan interactions

it's kind of a relief to read a simple, fun, old-school X-Men book, especially now that WATXM has drastically changed directions

not much of a fan of the art, though. Nauck's Kurt and Bamfs look good, but not the regular looking humans.

you know, I had pretty much forgotten Amanda Sefton existed, and I thought this book would feature Kurt and Logan traveling around together, or is my memory playing tricks on me again? Wth, it's Claremont, that's all that matters!

All-New X-Men #25:

I'm feeling really uncomfortable rn, Beast is not supposed to look hot.

some cool art, some fun futures (Kitty and Piotr LOL), others not so much...

is it bad that I wish we saw more of the dystopic ones?

the reality where Wanda becomes an icon, and the other one where she is an X-Man - SO MANY FEELS!

I absolutely hate the reality where we have the children of Wanda+Clint, Storm+Colossus, Steve+Magik, Rogue+Magneto, Logan+Jean, Betsy+Stark. Bendis, we really can't agree on our ships.

I need the unlettered art of some of those pages, particularly JG Jones'.

all I can say after that is that I hope the things shown here will have an actual impact on the story - my guess is it will be important for whatever the next X-event is? And the Watcher is such a hypocrite, criticizing Hank. Destroying many realities in his arrogant belief that he could change things for the better is still more reasonable than just sitting around watching a bunch of tragedies and doing nothing to prevent that. This also reveal what is either a failing in Bendis' knowledge of these theories or further proof of Uatu's hypocrisy, since logic states that however many good realities ceased to exist when Hank did his thing will be substituted for an equal number of others just as good; there needs to be a balance.

Mighty Avengers #9:

oh, okay; the Max guy, the villain from last issue, is at least one year younger than me. I'm feeling even older.

"Doc Brashear and Son vs the Millennium Bug" - so THAT's what happened!

that's depressing, to be reminded that the Marvel U has now began around 2001-2002... I'm never accepting this part of canon.

okay, we've known from several spoilers that Blade was Ronin for months, but that last page was still cool!

this issue would have been one of the best in this series if not for Greg Land...
