I'm a bit confused as to how your story and Nighty's latest chapter fits together could you explain? Also, which ship do you like better Thisbie or Newbal? Sorry if you don't want to answer this...
Ahh, hello Nonnie. It's not a problem I'd be happy to answer! In the best way I can at least...
First of all I'm not even sure if TOS and Nighty's legacy fit into the same universe/timeline (you'd have to ask Nighty for a definate answer). Anywho, lets pretend they are both in the same universe, for this answer.
I'm guessing since you were, also, referring to my story you're curious about the Newbie part?
TOS takes place four months before Chapter 17 of Bliss' gen, so it would be possible for Newbie to have been in cahoots with the rebels again and re-join the restoration. In the story Newbie does not remember his mortal life, nor does he remember his name or who turned him. Since it is never touched upon it could be possible that Olivine turned him and then influenced him into joining the restoration and forgetting his previous life/most of his memories.
In TOS, Newbie leaves the restoration because he no longer feels safe around Crimson and is willingly accepted into the Dragonfruit rebels. The rebels who happen to hardly let any outsiders into their coven.
During the four month gap it is possible that Newbie and Astral got into contact with the rebels again and managed to be re-instated into the restoration.
I'll include my answer to your second question in this part. Somebody has already asked me if it was Astral who Newbie was looking at, even though it says he was looking at Thistle, and she was looking back at him. However, if you wish to believe he saw Astral then feel free but be aware she might not even exist in Nighty's unverse/timeline. Personally, I will always like Newbal better but that's not to say I don't like Thisbie.
