#nightmares suck

Pei Su seems fragile here.

First time I noticed he had his glasses off while seeing his therapist. He's holding them. This is after he had nightmares during self-hypnosis the previous night.

Is he attempting to sincerely have a discussion with her? It's like he wants help but doesn't know how to begin....

His reflection in the glass. The dualism here hurts.

Then when his comfort level is exceeded.....he does what he always does.....

He puts his glasses back on. He puts his mask back on.

i keep having this reoccurring dream about one of my friends committing suicide because they think no one cares about them

and they die without knowing how much i care about them because i can’t express feelings well enough

and i don’t know why i keep having it

but i can’t stop thinking about it

how do i get this to stop

Day 2 monsters

the monster serve as impactful metaphors for the internal battles galo amd lio faced. Ultimately, Galo learns that fear is a natural part of being a hero, but facing those fears head-on is what truly makes him courageous. Thanks to lio who is always there for him in his nightmares. Anyway the monster reference to kray cause this guy can't be human at all

Night blackens the air where I stand

A crisp chill prickling my skin

Almost midnight

I breathe in

I should be sleeping but I’m not

Woken by nightmares

Silent screams

Hidden terrors

Now outside I look to the sky

Seeing some stars

Through the city lights

Dogs start barking

I’m not alone

Time to re-enter my warmer home

Trudge to my bedroom

Crawl into the sheets

Type out a poem

Then fall back into sleep

I hate nightmares because mine are always bad but I also hate them on principle.
