“It’s weird, not going to school daily now... But at least i’m out of detention... At that weird school... In the weird city I used to live in. And now I’m living in an even weirder city...” They monologue to no one in particular. Cousin had situated themselves at the Water of Styx in Archimedes Ward, watching the ripples of the water dance on it’s surface as the lights nearby only aided in it’s appearance. It may as well have been a little light show in their mind. This really was the best place to be at night. “The people here are nice so far... Weird too, though... Let’s see...” (I’ve met a few nice girls here. One being VERY excitable... In an endearing way of course. Another with her eye missing...) Gently pressing a hand to their own eye, they pondered... (Kinda wanna ask her about that, but that’d be rude. Let’s see... Met a weirdo Cat girl who thought I was food, yeesh... A Radio Cat, and that guy who likes free stuff too. Now that I think of it, I’ve met a good sum of people here now...)
Getting up form their spot, Cousin stretches their arms over their head, letting out a small shiver of relief when a joint or two popped. “I think I’ve been here long enough for the day... I’m not even sure if I should still be here. Better head on home.” As they turn to leave, their attention is pulled to the sound of a nearby fence rattling, some grunts of frustration and metal scraping. (What the...?)
It’s not my business! I’m Going home.
▶️ I’d Better go Check it out!
Despite their best intentions to head home, the noise was too intriguing to ignore. Tiptoeing towards the clamor, they take note of a young cat trying to hop the fence surrounding the area. They looked stuck. “U-Uhh!! Should you really be-” (No, don’t patronize them! They need help! Geez, this place keeps getting weirder...)
“Hold on!! I’ll help you down!”
