Jikoooooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Was Jk shading Taehyung during his New Years wishes to him at GDA? Twitter people are reading a LOT into it, saying that Jk is still salty at Tae and vice versa. They seem pretty chill to me. Why do people always find reasons to believe there is Vminkook drama? Is there a reason to think they aren't repairing their freindship?
VMINKOOK...
First of all, why would JK shade Taehyung? What are they fighting about, I wonder. Has anyone known JK to be the passive aggressive king slash shade throwing one in that trio? Because, not me...
I don't see him as the, 'those two are hanging out now followed by a slight head tilt,' kind of person. The 'Jimin wants to come but JK is keeping him from coming,' the 'well, you ignore me anyway so I couldn't tell you were on a mission' kind.
Or even the, 'my friendship relationships are gold to me and it's important for me to nurture those connections' knowing damn well the elephant in the room has a possessive streak and he himself has been on record, allegedly, stating he has one same age friend and all his friends are hyungs- so what is JK to you then Jimin?
Then the whole, 'texting is not a great way to build connections and is a barrier to effective communication' -words spewed in full cognizance of the fact JK is a bad texter yet prefers texting to talking on phone anyway- that is what I call shade. Not sure what was in the water that day, but chilee Jimin was all over the place in that Be Behind video. Lmho.
I think everyone, including even the semi-rational Tuktukker, know damn well what JK meant by that statement and what had prompted it- but leave it to them to circumvent.
Ah, V hyung... we used to have a special bond. When we were trainees, we had such great chemistry. V used to be the easiest hyung to talk to, now it's awkward.
Where is the shade in this? I don't think at all that he is or was in anyway shading Tae or any one. To shade would imply he has stock. He don't.
I hate when people talk about Tae Kook as if there is something wrong with their bond. There isn't. It is what it is. It's just not what their shoppers make it out to be. They are looking for depth where there is none. The fact of the matter is Tae Kook lacks depth to their dynamics. We know it, JK knows it, BigHit knows it. No amount of bullying Jimin or Jokers will add that missing depth back to their relationship. Sorry.
'He is still salty,' honey he was never salty about anything to begin with. They tried it! Making it sound like JK wants Tae to change in order to relate with him again. He don't.
Why would JK be salty about Tae's growth? Why would he object to Tae's growth?
Because that's what it is. This whole Tae Kook tensions is not about them fighting, it's about them growing apart. Tae grew the fuck up and JK can't relate with him or treat him the way he used to when they were young.
And if these self absorbed, legally blind shoppers looked beyond Tae Kook for a second, they will know it's not just JK complaining about Tae changing and becoming different as he grew up.
Tae used to be the easiest hyung to talk to and bully because they were closer in age and Tae allowed for such familiarity between them. Similar to how, Jin and Jimin allows for a certain degree of familiarity and informality between them and Jk.
While Tae allowed and was open to this level of closeness and informality between them, JK apparently held on to the gates, only scraping the surface of it and inhibiting the depth that could have been to their dynamics.
Was Tae content with that dynamic? No. Did he communicate that to JK? May be he did but JK wouldn't let his guards down. Tae failed to breach JK's emotional boundaries and years later he would express this sentiment openly to JK in their conversation in Soop.
Whereas, JK admitted to Jimin's successful breach of his emotional walls when he recounted the story of their rainy day fight- let me not hear any one compare Jikook to any of JK's ship in BTS, I whoop your ass. D!
This is the intimacy that is missing in Tae Kook. When you are close to someone, you not only feel at ease with them enough to express your thoughts freely with them, you are comfortable enough with them to be yourself, be different, to antagonize them without the fear that your differences and outbursts will sever your bond or lead to irreparable damage to your bond.
Fact is, in as much as JK felt close to Tae in the early days, he harbored a fear that being fully himself enough to be 'opinionated' and fully honest in his self expressions towards him, would break their bond.
He clearly didn't trust their bond was strong enough to handle all of that. That's the intimacy you find in Jikook. The trust. They are both unapologetically themselves with eachother because they trust in their bond.
Which means they share a lot but are also very opinionated with eachother, clash and assert themselves with eachother. And I know the kumbaya fake woke Jokers hate to hear it, but Jikook are strong not because they don't fight but because their bond withstands the test of a fight as Tae explained in his conversation with JK in Soop.
He was able to get closer with Jimin and Jin by being openly assertive with them- going against Jimin in the dumpling incident and all the times they fought, directly confrontational with Jin over their dance choreo but with JK he had always been scared to open himself in that way with him for whatever reason- I won't bother speculating on. It's their ship, they should do the maths.
May be he learned his lesson. He's learned not to fear conflict, to be assertive without fearing he would be punished for it, to be less passive aggressive as he was before and express himself and his feelings more openly over the years.
But it took him closing himself off to get there. Always looking in photos as if Yeontan ate the last brisket. Exuding melancholic vibes.
Young Jk equally didn't have a positive view on conflict and conflict resolution and I think he knew his place as the youngest and did not want to be as opinionated or assertive against them and so, as he explained to Tae in Soop, he opted to keep a safe distance emotionally from everyone- not just Tae.
When JK talks about we used to have a special bond, all he means is they used to be mischievous, get in trouble together, be brats, chat shit under their breaths behind their hyungs- partners in crime and as I like to call them, be the evil power duo of BTS.
They literally shared one brain cell lol, and conspired a lot. Their bond was unique only in that Tae was a rebel at heart and a bit innocent or immature as RM and the others would say.
Ship wise, Tae used to be on his side. He was protective of him and and looked out for him when they were young- that's of course before he started passive aggressively exposing JK's relationship with Jimin on VLives, incessantly shipping Jimin with Suga, dragging JK's ass away from JM's car so he could ride with him and all of those harmless moments that to anyone with little understanding of Tae's character would assume Tae didn't support JK's relationship.
And even after Soop, he put JK on the spot when he tried eye fucking Jimin through the view finder during their dynamite MV- he knew what JK was going to do. He's seen him do that a countless times to Jimin- HE KNOWS.
There is a reason JK gave him that look in the Dynamite shoot interview when he thought Tae was intentionally trying to expose him holding hands with Jimin behind Suga.
As much as these little things may be irritating to Kook, I don't think Tae gotta kiss his ass too. Jk can be messy sometimes with his Jikook agenda.
Of course they dynamic would change if Tae changed too- which is what Jimin and everyone says of Taehyung. He is very reserved and mature now. He is not the same childish, immature, reckless teen JK or Tuktukkers used to know.
He grew faster than either JK or JM had hoped and they both miss that part of him. Tae said he wished he could get a time machine and show Army the 'Chimchar' he was back in the day. The only way Taekook can be real is if we all hop into a time machine and go back in time to change the trajectory of events.
Tuktukkers need to let go of their old ship, that ship is dead and embrace the new ship brewing in its stead.
Jimin have said occasionally, that side of Tae pops out but he is very different from who he used to be when they were young. Which explains these outbursts of moments and interactions reminiscent of their past bond but that's all that is.
Why do these people insist on infantilizing Tae and holding him to his past?
That comment at GDA wasn't shade. But it was an inside Joke I feel. Like I said, when JK talks about their past history and bond, to me it's reference to a time period where Tae was on his side and was mischievous. To me it's code for 'I miss when you were less uptight and strict.'
He brought up when Tae gave them leeway and was lenient with their schedule during the making of Be- a sentiment all the members expressed in the Be behind video when they praised Tae for giving them much room in their schedules.
It was the same thing he said during his speech to Tae at GDA after bringing up the whole past bond thingy. He wanted to express appreciation to Tae perhaps because the loose schedule Tae had created had given him much time to go home and give his man a blowjob or go house shopping with him- who knows.
The way he kept looking at Jimin while saying that... yea. I'm going with that. Lol.
That loose schedule definitely put Tae in JK and JM's good graces.
My take away from that moment though, is- JK's agenda to give Tuktukkers hernia🤣
Lord I'm dying. I laughed so hard my ribs hurt. Pray for me. Lmho.
Chilee JK.
Dude is on a mission to run the entire Taekook gay, Taekook married propaganda campaign into the ground. What guts me is, he knows what Tae Kook is. I bet he went online after that Tae Kook Vlive to watch Tae Kook compilations. He's been on a mission to obliterate that ship since. Lol.
I mean I won't put it past him. Probably looked up Yoonmin while he was at it and showed Jimin analysis videos of him moaning in Suga's bedroom🤣🤣🤣🤣
Would explain why he was laughing when he saw Yoonmin in the comments during the VLive and why Jimin looked like he wanted to eat us alive. Lmho.
Oh Tae touched my peepee? You bloody moaned in Suga's bedroom how about we call it even?
ROTFL.
I joke but I mean, this is the same dude who took an online personality test after Tae read his results to him in Soop- he definitely watched those Tae Kook compilation-Y'all laugh else I'll shoot you. Lmho. I can't be the only one who finds this funny!
He knows what shipping is, he knows how statements like that would be construed by the fans- and the fact Jimin had spent an entire interview and behind scenes openly disavowing his glorified friendship connections... I smell a renewal of commitment somewhere.
Don't mind me. I play too much sometimes.
There is nothing wrong with Tae Kook's friendship. If anything, it seems JK feels very appreciative of Tae in recent times which is usually a good sign between them because for Vminkook to thrive they all need to make space for eachother and for the pairings amongst them to thrive- Vmin, Taekook and Jikook.
I hope this helps?

JIKOOK DYNAMICS: JIMIN'S LOVE LANGUAGE
PREFACE
In my previous post, I shared my thoughts on what I think is Jikook's love language, specifically Jungkook's; and how in my estimation Jimin is the only member within BTS that speaks it, comes close to speaking it and most importantly makes the effort to speak it.
In this post, I attempt to outline what I think is Jimin's love language and show the various ways I feel JK speaks it or comes close to speaking it more so than the others in BTS.
Now I have to state for the record that I do not know or purport to know Jimin or Jungkook or any of these members herein mentioned in any way special and personal other than through the content we all consume on them.
Nor do I intend to be malicious or disrespectful towards them with this post, to intend to strip away their individuality for the sake of shipping symmetry.
Thus, I reiterate, everything I express in here is my thoughts, my observations and my opinion and I pray you treat it as such.
Let the records show, also that, I will bug spray any fake woke wannabe edgy shipper with a Tuktukker complex that takes my words out of context, misconstrue it to suit their own agenda and then turn around to call me out for it. In the name of Jesus, I will avada kedabra your ass. Seriously.
JIMIN
I've always been fascinated by Jimin. By the person he is. And although I do not have a comprehensive understanding of this man's inner workings, he's got to be the most complex and frankly interesting character I've come across in all my shipping years.
His duality is confusing and coupled with his Libra energy, his character and personality can be and is quite often misconstrued and misinterpreted within the shipping community.
He is friendly, cute, funny, beautiful and ship compatible with anyone.
Very often, I find, most people cannot tell his personality from his idol self slash persona or even his love language from his affectionate nature; thus resulting in these bizzare fallacies and ridiculous assumptions about him such as: he is a flirt, hoe, clingy, homewrecker, attention seeker and a plethora of slurs and sobriquet that's defamatory and slanderous at best- its ridiculous.
I get that not everyone likes him and as such wouldn't hesitate to filter his words and actions through arbitrary metrics to arrive at conclusions that profits them and does nothing but help them make sense of their hate- Y'all don't love yourselves enough.
Not to say he is my bias therefore he is perfect. That would be a blunder. He has his shortcomings, he is human after all. What I'm saying is most people don't get him and as such read him wrong?
What's more discombobulating, is the stan who swears up and down they know Jimin well enough but don't see him treating JK any different from the rest of the boys in BTS therefore Jikook isn't real- insert shook pikachu face.
Then there are those stans with genuine shipping concerns about the love dynamics between the two:
Those that feel JM gives more to JK than he receives back. That he is more supportive of JK than JK is of him. Very often, these people would bring up the issue of JK not promoting Promise when it first came out as evidence of this- it's been years let it go.
JK not being as vocal and open about his feelings and interest in JM the way Jimin is and has been about JK is also another area of concern for these stans. If you try to explain to them its because JK is/was shy they will kick- your- ass. Hell, I will kick your ass too. I'll explain later.
Some people also- I know I have at one point- have described JK's interest in and descriptions of JM as a bit shallow and vain compared to how the other members speak of Jimin.
To them, the other members usually talk about how smart and intelligent JM is, how kind and nurturing he is. How much of himself he gives to them. That the way the members talk about Jimin often helps give us a glimpse into the real Park Jimin as distinct from the persona we see on the screens.
But then there is JK: JM hyung is sexy. He has pretty eyes. 'I want you.' Then he proceeds to drool over the Jibooty, squeeze them legs shut tight while struggling to sit through a Jimin solo dance without popping boners left right left around Jimin- Bless him.
I mean, dude nearly snapped his neck trying to catch a glimpse of the Ji-abs in the middle of a performance? Damn.
To be fair, the other members don't talk like this about Jimin and sexualise Jimin as often as JK does because, they don't want to screw Jimin's brains out? Cough, cough. Hashtag save Jimin from JK. Lol
If JK is sexually attracted to Jimin, how else do you expect him to express that? Never mind that he's done some of these things subconsciously at times. You know what...
Y'all need to give this man a break!
[RANT]
He was a hormonal teen- he is still relatively pretty young. It's ridiculous to expect and demand such high level of maturity from a 16/17 year old experiencing a nonplatonic love for the first time in his life and more so in an unforgiving and invasive environment such as that in which he found himself.
Jk and Jimin found each other before they found themselves and it's unreasonable to think that that didn't have a toll on their relationship dynamics. They are human.
They are each growing and maturing at different paces. Their relationship has suffered through its growing pains; Certainly, one person is going to appear lacking in one or two areas in one way shape or form and at any given point in their love journey. That doesn't make them less real.
Again, their careers and the pursuit of it haven't exactly given them the space, time or normalcy to explore what they are and who they are in a functional way, in my opinion.
Everything is moving fast in their world, everything is highly exaggerated and highly scrutinized. Kpop is not exactly a healthy space to foster a healthy relationship and it would be a miracle if any of them should come out unscathed.
Neither one of them went searching for this love thingy nor were they even experienced enough to look at their relationship beyond the convenience of it and the excitement of it- The orgasms were enough reason for them, I think.
I get uncomfortable when some Jikookers, out of good intentions, claim Jikook knew what they were doing, should have known therefore could have known the consequences of them coupling up in a group like BTS before entering into their relationship- let me stop you right there!
While this assumption may seem like a compliment to them it also perpetuates the adultification of early days Jikook which I find disturbing.
They were teens not grown adults when they fell in love. We can't expect and demand such level of maturity from them at that age as cool as that would have made them.
They don't need to be cool to be real. They don't need to be mature to be real.
Jikook is real regardless of whether they were thoughtful or not thoughtful about the consequences of them choosing to date in a group setting, or a homophobic society at the onset of their relationship.
It's ridiculous to dismiss what they are now on the grounds that S.K is a homophobic society or that dating a coworker is not inconsequential.
People date their coworkers all the time and there are gay couples in S.K.
Jikook were too young to comprehend the consequences of dating because which teen worries about all of that before popping one off for the lord? On which planet, sir/ma'am??Were they thinking with their 'ducks?' I believe so. But again, that doesn't make them any less real.
From what I can tell anyway, 2018 was the year Jikook had anything resembling a serious thoughtful contemplation of the status of their relationship- Well, 2018 and this later half of 2020 as some of you might have already noticed. More on this later.
But yes, this adultification of early days Jikook is absurd and needs to stop. And what's equally disturbing is the infantilization of the adult day Jikook- you can't expect Jikook dynamics to remain the same throughout the years. That's bizzare.
Don't expect them to be their same jeonlous, Jimlous, possessive selves. They are growing. They are evolving as individuals and as a pair.
I side eye the fuck out of these fake woke shippers and 'grown ups' who filter Jikook interactions through adult lens and tag moments like Jimlous and Jeonlous as toxic and unhealthy without taking into context where they were at in their love journey or even their age. What y'all think this is? Fiction? Get the fuck outta here.
Jikook have had to learn and grow on the Job and around their job and learn to love eachother under the scrutiny of severe cameras and weird Ahjummas. Leave them the fuck alone or I swear I will petrify your ass for an entire comeback season. Lol
[Rant over]
All that being said, I get it. The way JK talks about Jimin isn't exactly special or unique from the way the other's speak about Jimin. But it isn't exactly superficial either...
And yes, it's quite unsettling that he doesn't describe Jimin in a way that gives meaningful insight into Jimin's personality as distinct from the others', given as he has exclusive access to Jimin more so than any of the members- we have a lot to unpack today, don't we?
Then on the other hand, there are those who think the exact opposite and see JK as the one who gives more to their relationship. That JK takes their relationship more seriously than Jimin does. They see Jimin as a bit wishy-washy when it comes to his commitment to their relationship- this breaks my heart.
Often, such people will cite Jimin's flirty nature, his lack of boundaries with others amongst other things, to prove their point...
Grab a seat, this discussion is going to be a long one. Smiley face.
JIMIN'S LOVE LANGUAGE
Jimin first got on my alt-ship radar in Rookie King when he was given an opportunity to air any and all of his grievances accumulated over the years against any member or staff of BigHit but instead chose to use that opportunity to talk about JK and how JK's actions had been hurting him.
Prior to this, he was just my bias and I would casually ship him with Suga, V, RM and basically all the members- except JK. I just couldn't ship JK with anyone.
Back then, I had a vague sense of JM's personality but felt I knew enough about him to theorize on his love language and JK was the last person I thought of as capable of meeting those emotional needs of Jimin's.
Rookie King changed my mind.
Jimin wasn't just trying to squash his differences with JK, he was trying to get closer to him. To get emotionally intimate with him- this is one of the things that sparked my interest in their dynamics.
Because it wasn't as if they weren't close. They were. They had a skinship between them. Skinship, or lack of physical boundaries as I like to call it, is one of the means through which BTS achieve intimacy amongst them.
Jikook had that between them at the time, they went everywhere together, woke each other up- they were close.
Yet Jimin felt they weren't close enough. That there was a wall between them. Now, I see a lot of people misinterpret this period in the Jikook timeline as that Jimin was crushing hard on JK. He wasn't. In my opinion.
You see, Jimin was the last person to Join the band. This was bound to have an effect on his relationship dynamics with the rest of the members as he had missed out on two years worth of emotional connection and camaraderie with them.
He had had only one year to bond and get to know the others away from the cameras and in a way that could help him develop a sense of belongingness within the group.
Within this one year, he had school, voice training, and other activities that possibly got in the way of him truly building an intimate connection with the others.
He is the only member out of the seven whose intimacy journey got captured on camera. He had to foster a connection with the others with the cameras around.
But building a connection with people even in a platonic sense is quite an intimate and private process. It takes vulnerability, honesty, a willingness to submit and subject oneself to varying degrees of humiliation, a sacrifice of the self, ego and pride in a way that just strips you naked- metaphorically speaking.
And in Jimin's case, he had to go through this stage and process openly and with the cameras around- the second hand embarrassment I get from watching early days Park Jimin!
He literally had to be the clown of the group, the hufflepuff, the clingy one, the flirty one, the one with the abs, the loud and chatty one as well as all the tasteless epithets people now weaponize against him.
I believe, all he was trying to do at this stage was breach the barriers he felt existed between him and the others as the newcomer of the group so he didn't feel like an outsider.
That is his first love language- the need to belong. He has a strong desire to feel connected with people. He cares about people and connection. He's reiterated this throughout the years and even more loudly in the recent Japan interviews.
He wanted to be part of BTS both physically and emotionally. He wanted to fit in, to belong with them, to be accepted and viewed as one of the boys- BTS.
You could see this in the way he had adopted the mannerisms of the group- the skinship, the love language of the group if you will.
It is why when Suga complained about him not liking him as much, Jimin immediately drew closer to him and wrapped his hands around him, initiating skinship between them to show he liked him.
Jimin tried to speak the groups love language so he could bond with them but he also began to infuse his own love language.
If you've seen his relationship with his father you'd understand that Jimin expresses his love through giving, nurturing etc. It is how his primary care givers showed him love and so how he also shows and conveys his love.
The members have talked about how he would encourage them to talk, to open up, how he would listen to them, be there for them and give them gifts- the birthday gift exchange culture in BTS didn't exist until Jimin arrived in BTS.
What I'm trying to say is, Jimin has a distinct way of showing love that is unique from how everyone else in the group expresses their love. That, there is also an established love parlance within BTS that everyone speaks and that is skinship.
So when Jimin does skinship with any member he is not acting 'clingy' he is just speaking the love language that the group understands. But when Jimin nurtures and acts supportive and what not, he is speaking his own unique love language.
Now I have talked extensively about how Jimin expresses his in my last post so I will be focusing mainly on how he receives loves or what gestures he interprets as love.
And since there is a general consensus that VMin have an emotional connection, I will be referencing their relationship a lot for comparisons sake.
Tae is the only member Jimin got to spend the most time with around predebut without the intrusion of the cameras. This i feel allowed Tae room to strip back and be fully vulnerable with Jimin without reservation as is required of intimacy- which was not the case for Jikook hence JK shying away from interacting with JM in front of the cameras.
Jikook wasn't accorded the luxury of privacy VMin had to build their bond. Jikook had to build their bond with the camera's trailing them. How many times have we seen JK give death stares to the camera people for invading his me time with Jimin?
Not to be psychoanalytic but I feel, this is what induced the exhibitionist tendencies we see in them- or perhaps I'm wrong and this is just them being extra. Bless them.
Within the one year JM was trying to connect with JK through skinship, JK was also only coming around to understanding what skinship meant to him. They were evolving at different paces.
JK has the most walls in BTS. He wasn't just physically closed off to skinship in the early days forcing Tae to strip him naked in the bathroom, he was emotionally closed off too.
He is still pretty much emotionally closed off- he likes to put up walls. He had his own room at the dorm, does his own laundry, barely keeps in touch with the others or pick up the damn phone when they call etc.
Jk barely partakes in the group's established way of life except for perhaps the skinship. In my opinion.
It took JK a while to understand this culture of skinship though. And the members, all of them, had to push his boundaries further back in order to connect with him.
For instance, Jin pinching his nipples to wake him up, Tae doing- well, all of it. Go watch Taekook sexual tension edits, I dare you. You'll understand.
These members had three years off camera with JK to build a connection with him and even they were met with some resistance from JK.
All Jimin had was a year with JK. I feel Jimin lowkey coveted what the others had with JK and perhaps wanted to have that with him too. Why? Because of his need to belong and connect with people. Watching JK's dynamics with the others probably made him feel left out.
I also understand how this could have been overwhelming for young JK who was having both his physical boundaries and emotional boundaries breached at the same time by this person whom he he'd known for only a year.
That's just one of the major differences between Jikook and Taekook: while Tae was busy breaching the physical walls between him and JK, Jimin was attempting emotional heist on him. Bravo Jimin, Bravo.
So do I think at this point in 2013 that Jikook were falling in love or had fallen in love? NO. But what I took from that moment was that Jimin wanted and needed to feel a sense of belongingness with JK.
Mind you I said he wanted to belong, not owned. Freedom is a component of Jimin's love language. In as much as he wants to be kept he wants to be set free- To be be given the room and freedom to explore options and take risks without judgement and without sanctions.
This need is often misconstrued as him being noncommittal.
His need for freedom, I believe, stems from his being raised in a conservative home with parents that directed and dictated every facet of his life and wouldn't even allow him to pursue his passions until later. It took a while for his father to give him the go ahead to pursue his dream- which is performing on stage.
This is why I said in my last post that Jimin has a need to be in control of the decision making in a relationship. Being able to do as he pleases is important to him. Being able to control his own narrative is important to him. And the only person in BTS that permits him to have such authority over him is JK.
Now, I know you are going to say 'but JK is a bit possessive yadda yadda yadda'.
Listen, Jimin's need for freedom is inextricably linked with his fear of judgment and repercussion. What this means is, although he wants his freedom he is often afraid of what will happen if he should go for it.
As such, very often he wouldn't do anything without permission. Especially if he feels it's going to land him in trouble.
I fist noticed this in the 2014 Jikook bangtan bomb when he said he was starting to take a liking to JK but then right after he asked if JK was ok with that. Suga have also said, Jimin doesn't go out of his way to do things that makes people hate him- See this is why he needs JK. He could use some rebellion in his life.
However, this fear of sanctions often makes him complacent to and an accomplice in toxic behavioural patterns.
For instance, until recently, he would enable JK and encourage his acts of jealousy and possessiveness and even incite them at times. He would hold on to the thorns if it means keeping the rose.
But I see him asserting himself and demanding space within their relationship at times but when he does and JK withdraws he would act clingy around JK.
It is what Manila was about, what August 2019 was about and what April/May 2020 was about. I know some of y'all don't agree with my analysis on these moments, but I'm gonna have to stand by it.
Jimin is all about the balance of scales. The balance of needs and wants. The balance of fears and desires. It's just the Libra in him. Give him too much freedom and he will feel unwanted, hold on too tight and he would feel suffocated.
'I value my relationship. Spending time with my friends is gold' remember this shade?
Jimin's fear of Judgment comes from being a perfectionist and also being raised in a conservative home with a lot of expectations of him to be the model son as the elder male.
Thus, he instinctively gravitates towards people who are less judgy or have too much expectations of him.
Also, because he believes he has to work hard to achieve the things he wwants he wants to be loved, it would mean a lot to him if he didn't have to work hard to have someone love him.
It makes sense then that he would gravitate towards JK.
Jk embodies all of Jimin's wildest desires. I call this the allure of the Golden Maknae. Jk doesn't conform. He doesn't care about people's opinions of him and lives his life on his own terms- something Jimin is striving for.
No member in BTS is as free spirited, or as rebellious as JK is. When Suga told him not to get a tattoo because the fans would hate it- he's gotten it anyway hasn't he?
The best part, JK fell all on his own. And you damn right. he fell hard.
Still on the subject of fears, another fear I feel Jimin has that speaks to his love language is the fear of being a burden.
It is why he gives and gives and keeps giving. He'd rather give than receive. Which by the way, JK is the only member I have seen Jimin demand back what he gives him. Emotionally speaking.
Because he gives a lot of himself, he burns out quickly and feels emotionally drained quite often.
He has admitted himself that he used to drink by himself in his room whenever he felt drained. I assume he drank by himself because he didn't want to be a burden to others. Aka JK.
You see, JK is an empath. He feels people's pain as if they were his own. You just have to see him tear up while watching JM cry to understand what I mean by this. Jimin is a nurturer, he knows what it feels like to listen to someone's pain.
And if Tae is the one he goes to when it becomes overbearing then what does he need JK for? Glad you asked!
What JK offers Jimin is nourishment. A safe space for him to heal and reboot. JK replenishes Jimin. It is why he constantly wants to be around him.
Jk has been a canvas in their love dynamics from day one. They've both had to negotiate their needs and wants to make their relationship work. Which is something I find unique about their dynamics and why I believe they are real.
JK's lack of experience in dating, meant he had gone into their relationship without any preconceived notions of love. He's had to learn to love Jimin the way Jimin wants to be loved.
Coming from the background he's coming from, and having been denied his ambitions for such a long time, I see why Jimin would be drawn to people that are quite ambitious.
And even though, JK wasn't this person at first, Jimin has had to hype him up to the task. He pushes JK to be more ambitious.
When it comes to JK, I feel it's more about his potential to be everything Jimin wants in a partner and JK seems more than happy to comply with this.
Because of Jimin's duality and as a natural nurturer, I feel Jimin would also be attracted to someone emotionally open to recieving his love but not too emotionally dependent on him- the balance of scales I mentioned earlier.
It is why VMin wouldn't work, in my opinion. Tae is too emotionally dependent on Jimin. He ends up taking too much than he gives. On the other hand, Suga isn't emotionally dependent enough.
Again, for a man who's battled insecurity for years, it's safe to assume security, certainty and stability are an intricate part of his love language.
He seeks validation of these needs through the most random of things. In my opinion. He wants to be the one that knows JK the best. It matters to him if their clothes match, if their hair colors match, if JK meets his eyes in the middle of a serious comeback interview, if he checks all of JK's answers- hell, dude be whispering sweet empty nothings in JK's ears most times, talking about they are destined to be together and shit. You are me, I am you. Shit.
As annoying as some of these behaviors may be, JK is very considerate and tolerant of them and consideration is another one of Jimin's love language. This goes back to having been denied his dreams by his father. That denial flowed from a lack of consideration of his needs.
And as much as emotionally connected he is with Tae, Tae barely takes his feelings into consideration. And you see this in the letter Tae's written to Jimin. Or even in the dumpling incident where Tae put his want above Jimin's.
Not to mention the moments, JM have had to walk out of rooms because- Tae won't stop playing with JK's dam hair! Lol. They are cute.
People take from Jimin without reservation. But Jk is considerate as Jimin is of JK's needs.
Jk wasn't the 'exhibitionist' in that pair. He's a very private individual from what I can tell.
That PDA, that exhibitionism we see in them, that's all Park Jimin. He kinky. Dude freaky as fuck- we ain't mad at that. Bless him.
He enjoys public displays of affection. It's how he receives love. But PDA is not JK's love language, in my opinion. Yet he goes out of his way to show his affections for JM openly.
The best example I can give of this is Rosebowl.
JK understands that in order to be intimate with JM he has to allow himself to be influenced by him.
And Jimin understands that, as much as he wants to be close to JK that he doesn't have to rush him or force him into giving him the things he need from their relationship.
They are both very considerate of each other's needs, as random and ridiculous as those needs may be and cater to them in a way that is uniquely them.
Take the New Jersey live 2019 for example. Jimin seemed exhausted. Didn't want to be on another Live that night but JK clearly wanted to be seen on a Live together with him so he was there.
Another instance is the rock bison incident, where JM exchanged his toy for JK's just to make JK happy.
CONCLUSION
Listen, Jimin is in love with Jk no matter how imperfect you think he is.
No matter how much you think JK sucks at expressing his feelings for JM, Jimin loves him. No matter how close JM is with the other members, aka VMin, Yoonmin, Minimoni and the others; no matter the lack of emotional and physical boundaries between him and the others he will always fall back on Jk because none of those relationships fulfill him as much as JK does.
Jimin's constant need to be around JK could only mean there is some he gets from JK, a sense of fulfillment he gets that he doesn't get from any other member.
Keep supporting Jikook.

JIKOOK vs OTHER BTS SHIPS INVOLVING JIKOOK
This conversation is long over due. I know. I have been contemplating on how best to express my sensitiments about these BTS ships in general and how Jikook stands out from them to me without also participating in the outing culture so bare with me.
I started this blog to share my thoughts, my observations and theories about Jikook- not Jikook the ship, Jikook the alternative ship. I'll explain shortly.
You see, I am a shipper shipper. A professional shipper if you will. I ship anything and anyone with a pulse. Hell, I ship Lucifer and his brother Jesus; lord bless me but it's all I could think about as an eight year old in Sabbath School.
But as I grew up, fiction wasn't enough anymore. That's when I started getting into alternative shipping- shipping real life people who are in a real life romantic relationship like the Carters, Harry and Megan, Zayn and Hadid, Rihanna and Drake or any other two pairs that present as a power couple or has the potential to become one. Selena Gomez, I got my eyes on you.
The stakes were much higher in those kinds of ships and I love a challenge. It is why I got into Jikook. They are a power couple- in the making. Gay Icons extraordinaire- In my opinion.
They have so much potential as a couple and as a unit and it is evident in the way BigHit brands them and includes their brand in corporate campaigns and in their in-house marketing strategies as I have explained in previous posts.
Prior to Jikook, I was into Yoonmin, Vmin, Minimoni and basically any ship involving Jimin. I still am. That man is ship compatible with anyone. If you are a shipper shipper you'll know what I mean.
But then somewhere along the way, I noticed Jikook were a bit- different. They lend themselves to be more than a ship and presented a symptom of alternative ship to me. Lord, how they tickled my alternative shipper senses!
Don't get me wrong. Jikook is a ship like any other ship first and foremost. But they are a ship and then some- An alternative ship.
As a ship, they don't invalidate any other ship in BTS including Taekook, Jinkook and all other BTS ships involving them. But as an alternative ship, they render any other ship involving Jimin and JK invalid.
Shipping is just celebrating and enjoying the bond and relationship between two or more people platonic wise or wanting, desiring two people to be in a romantic relationship. This type of shipping presupposes that the ship in question isn't in fact real to begin with but you just hope that they are.
Alternative shipping is different however. Not better, different. It's not just about the fantasy. It is about acknowledging that two people are together romantically and supporting them or rooting for them.
In alternative shipping you are limited in the way you fantasize about your one true pair- because they are real people and you don't have the freedom and range that conventional shipping provides which is no inhibitions.
You don't get to project on to your OTP. At best, you get to live vicariously through them and that is as far as fantasy goes. You don't have much control over their narrative. All you get to do is enjoy their moments, support their relationship, and pray to the good ole shipping gods that they don't break up. I'm dead serious about the praying part.
In conventional shipping you sort of hope that your OTP end up together. In Alternative shipping they are already together and you sort of hope they don't break up. Does it make sense?
Break ups thus are a huge component part of alternative shipping. Alternative shippers constantly keep an eye out for breakup rumors and conflicts. Because why not? Your ship ends as soon as there is a break up. It's a life or death situation, I kid you not.
If you are lucky and your OTP gets back together you thank your stars and you thank them good- I am still very salty about Drake and Rihanna. Very, very salty. *pouting in ships.
It's therefore frustrating to see people within the fandom confuse these two types of shipping. It's fascinating to see the typical conventional 'vanilla' shipper with their pitch fork hurling slurs at alternative shippers whenever they talk about possible conflicts and breakup rumors involving their OTP.
That's just bigotry and gatekeeping at it's finest but let's not talk about that today. Let's talk about Taekook and Jinkook and all the other ships involving JK and Jimin because I receive a lot of Asks about those other ships whenever they have a moment and frankly it's beginning to stress my edges out- I'm growing bald here guys. Lol
For some reason people seem to think those other ship moments invalidates Jikook? Huh??
Listen, Jikook is real whether Jin kisses Jk on the cheek, bum, shoulder, lip or anywhere else. Jikook is real whether Tae hugs Jk, goes on a dinner date, rides with JK or shares a room with him. These other ships do not invalidate Jikook. At all!
And just because Jikook are in a relationship with eachother does not mean they cannot be affectionate with the other members in and outside their band- that's a very Jungkook-esque way of thinking if you think like that and a very Jimin x the rest of BTS-esque way of thinking if you think otherwise!
It's no secret that JK and Jimin hold different views or values with regards to boundaries in relationships or what couples are allowed and not allowed to do with others outside their relationship.
And it makes sense. These are two men coming from the same culture but different households, with different influences and beliefs about a lot of things including love.
The way I see it, from all the Jimlous and Jeonlous moments over the years, Jikook may have the same idea and approach when it comes to boundary enforcement but they hold different views on what behavior constitutes a breach of said boundaries.
Not to mention, they enforce boundaries in different ways.
Boundaries or the lack of it, has always been at the heart of Jikook issues- the fights and conflicts, the breakups etc. From my perspective anyway.
And I find that usually people who have concerns about Jikook's interactions with other members are projecting their own values and ideologies about boundaries in relationships onto these boys.
Now I'm not saying it is wrong to filter their relationship through your own personal experiences and relationship lens. What I'm saying is, it is their relationship and their rules and perhaps we should learn to listen to how they choose to interact with eachother and how they are choosing to define and explain love or boundaries in this case. Isn't that what support is all about?
I've seen some people dismiss Jikook as real simply because Jimin is less territorial over Jk and doesn't hulk out whenever he sees JK interact in a way they describe as disconcerting with Tae, Jin or any of the members.
Jikook are not living out a script. They are real people in a real relationship and if my observations about them is right, they are each other's romantic awakening. They don't have much dating experience outside eachother- in my opinion.
So when people say things like 'if Jikook is real, Jimin wouldn't allow JK to do x with Tae or Jin' or 'I wouldn't allow my significant other to do x with y so Jikook must not be real then' it baffles me. It really does.
While I understand where these sentiments are coming from, I also find it all so very bizarre. Because their behavior in regards to such instances could be influenced by a myriad of things:
Their experience in dating, believes about love and dating, differences in methodologies, their culture, their backgrounds- their behaviors are influenced by a plethora of things. They are in fact complex beings after all.
You see JM is territorial, almost as territorial as JK if not more. And when he feels there's been a cross of boundaries he would react strongly to it. STRONGLY. He is very assertive in that way.
Now, I am not Korean and I cannot say much about their skinship culture. But I can say this, BTS in general lack both physical and emotional boundaries with eachother in my opinion. And this affects the dynamics between Jikook with regards to the enforcement of boundaries in general.
I don't make much of jealousy moments when such moments occur amongst BTS members because they are human and secondly their human nature is amplified by the lack of walls between the.
And it is there in almost every BTS ship. But even jealousy moments in Jikook seem different. I don't call it Jealousy, I call it an acknowledgement of a lack of boundary.
That's how most Jimlous moments look like to me anyway. He seems to express disappointment and displeasure whenever he acknowledges the lack of boundaries between some of the members but especially where JK is concerned.
It is why often I look to Jimin to decide whether JK's 'skinship' with others crosses the line. I don't impose my own understanding of boundaries onto them at all for the mere fact that we come from different cultures.
Now JK on the other hand. Deep sigh. Bless him lord. I don't trust his views on boundaries. Not in the slightest least. Dude is both territorial and possessive and usually i find he confuses the two.
I mean there is nothing wrong with being territorial. Being territorial is also about setting boundaries, asserting those boundaries and demanding that those boundaries be respected by others.
And whereas there is nothing wrong with being territorial, I cannot say the same about being possessive. BTS have said it and JK has admitted it- JK is very possessive. Well he was but lately I noticed he's been working hard on that part of him. Good for him. We stan a healthy relationship.
What is his is his and what is other's his his. Remember when he said that? Jk is the best of BTS and the worst of them. He has inherited their best traits and I'm afraid their worst traits also. In my opinion.
If BTS lacks boundaries with eachother, Jk is worse. We've all seen him try to eat food from RM's mouth. Kid is super duper gross but we love him. Bless him. Lol
Interestingly, JM didn't react strongly to that moment when it happened. I mean JK all but kissed RM in that Bon Voyage moment. Yet somehow Jimim found JK massaging Jin's neck as an issue and reacted strongly to that? What gives?
From my observation, when it comes to enforcing boundaries by Jikook, the person they are enforcing their boundaries against is as relevant as the action being perpetrated and it is all laced with subtexts and contexts that usually we are missing.
What I mean is, JM usually reacts relatively strongly to Jinkook, HopeKook, Taekook more so than Namkook or Yoonkook. And you notice perhaps it's because the dynamics between RM and Kook, Suga and Kook is a tad different than between Jin, Hobi, Tae and Jk.
I mean, Taekook! The evil power twin of BTS! Lol. I know people like to place them in Ravenclaw but lord, I will shove those duo evil incarnate in Slytherin right along with their master Jimin if you give me the sorting hat! Lmho.
Taekook is a beautiful and interesting pair and when they activate their powers band PD gulps nervously. Say ay if you know what I'm talking about! Love them!
But yes, Jin, Hobi and Tae are very playful by nature, and can be very childish at times and this plays into their interactions with Jk. So very often, JM overlooks these interactions between them and JK.
Yet very often too, I feel JM feels those three can be a bit reckless in their interactions with JK and can easily cross the line with him and so JM tends to act weary of their interactions with JK most times as well.
What I mean is, Jin, Hobi and Tae can easily cross JM's boundaries with regards to JK because they are the most carefree and playful members with JK and so Jimin ends up enforcing boundaries with them very often. But he doesn't seem to do that with RM and Suga vs Kook.
The reverse is true for JK.
RM, Suga and Hobi are very care free and playful with JM as compared to say Jin and JM.
The closer two people are, the more playful they are with eachother, the higher the lack of boundaries is between them.
Intimacy and closeness with another human requires, to varying degrees, a certain amount of lowering of walls and with those, boundaries. And when you have a group that's built their brand on their bond and take pride in their intimacy- the lack of emotional and physical boundaries between them-
Like Tae stripping Jk naked to the D in the bathroom or even the emotional connection between Tae and Jimin- that shit is not normal VMin. I enjoy y'all but it's not normal. Lol.
-then it's understandable why setting up boundaries for their relationship and enforcing those boundaries within such an environment would be a bit difficult for Jikook and especially JK who has his possessive and territorial nature to contend with as well.
I mean BTS have said what makes them stand out from other idol groups is their closeness to eachother and they are not wrong. The level of intimacy, the lack of emotional and physical boundaries between all of them, is crazy out of this world!
It's a bit presumptuous to expect Jikook to suddenly have boundaries in certain areas of their lives where boundaries never existed to begin with and to enforce those boundaries against members with whom they individually never had boundaries with.
I feel part of why the other members of BTS seemly have 'issues' with JK and the tensions between Jk and them in regards to Jimin is due to this. And this is especially true for Tae and JK in my opinion.
There's been a lot of tensions between Tae and JK in the past couple of years- 2019 GDA moments for example, Dynamite MV reaction VLive moment for there other.
Tae is one member who has consistently and constantly pushed back against Jk's monopolization of Jimin. And I know I joke about him being on his VMin agenda most times but dude takes that shit seriously. Lol
He's done so actively and passive aggressively through out the years: like when he talked about JK not allowing Jimin to come film a VLive with him, or when he dragged JK way so he could ride with Jimin.
RM does this too post 2018. He used to submit to JK's authority over JM but after 2018 he's been pushing back hard against JK. It's crazy because RM and Tae are two of the members most emotionally dependent on JM. Yet those are the two less territorial over JM. And makes you wonder what gives JK the right to be as territorial over JM or JM over JK. Lord, I said no outing in this post!
RM and Tae lack emotional boundaries with JM and it shows in the way they push back whenever JK tries to enforce boundaries with them. But for some reason, JK doesn't react as strongly to Tae and JM but he flinches when RM as much as breathes near JM.
Now, this could just be because he is closer to Tae than RM but I just think it's because he feels threatened by RM as a viable love interest of JM. But don't take my word for it. I'm delusional.
The boundaries Jikook enforce are not only physical boundaries, they try to enforce emotional boundaries as well.
What that means is that, while we may be looking at a physical interaction involving them and calling for either of them to enforce a boundary there, they might have already enforced an emotional boundary there and so wouldnt be as much bothered by the act- the missing subtext and context aforementioned.
Where we may be worrying about a physical boundary, Jikook may be more concerned about enforcing an emotional boundary somewhere else.
We are not them. We don't see what they see nor do we understand fully what goes on when the cameras go off. The content we see is just a fraction of the interactions that goes on between them.
If Jikook are not sweating it, why should we? Jikook's existence does not estop Jinkook from having skinship nor does it prevent Taekook from being affectionate with each other. And neither of these interactions invalidate Jikook.
JK has been working on his possessiveness issues and lately, since August 2019, he has been trying to not get worked up as much over certain interactions between JM and the other members- I said he has been trying (and failing miserably) He's cute.
Trust me when I say, if he or Jimin feel a boundary is being crossed they will enforce it pronto. They are both very assertive and very not blind.
Needless to say, it is very dangerous to want to interpret every interaction between these men in the light of shipping. The message that sends is that it is not normal for two men to be affectionate and vulnerable with eachother outside a romantic context which in itself is perpetuating a variant of the toxic masculinity couture.
If Jikook is real, any other ship involving JK and JM besides Jikook is equally not real. That is a given. And Jikook and all other ships involving Jikook are mutually exclusive.
Thus, I refrain from assuming Jk and JM are romantically entangled with any other member or even interpret their other ship's interactions to reflect such a conclusion. I just don't see it. Where? Where is it?
There's only one alternative ship in BTS that I see and that is Jikook. The others are mere conventional ships in my opinion.
I don't see JK or JM as the kind to mess with their group's dynamics in that way either. I don't see them as selfish or that reckless. And it's not because I have such profound faith in them as human beings... It's just- JK throws tantrums over the minutest things JM does to let bigger things such as JM cheating on him with another member slide.
I mean, shit, we wouldn't hear the end of it for years and BTS official Twitter will be filled with lots of Adele and Taylor swift song recommendations! Lol
BTS would have to hide all the frying pans in the world! I mean why do you think New Jersey VLive happened? Dude petty as fuck.
No but seriously, I think such a situation would have much more greater repercussions on the group's dynamics as all substantive relationships in BTS has already been formed and there is a moral code at play here: Bros before- I got nothing. Lol
Personally, I don't trust anyone who thinks Taekook is real or that there are any other gay couple besides Jikook in BTS as far as alternative shipping goes.
If Taekook or Jinkook is real I honestly don't see it. Don't get me wrong, Taekook has a lot of potential to be a great power couple- if only they were a couple and JK wasn't a rogue agent in that ship.
JK is a shipper's nightmare for real. Ship him with anyone besides Jimin at your own peril. I wouldn't bet my money on him outside Jikook- god's honest truth.
Anywho, this is just my thoughts on this whole matter. Let me know what y'all think. Namaste.

JIKOOK IS WILD'N BEHIND SUGA- AGAIN
It's official, Jikook don lost their minds- or they is madly in love- whatever y'all kids call it these days. Chilee, can't even tell the difference any more at this point. Sigh. When I tell you Jikook is real. Please Jikook is real.
Remember the thing they used to do behind suga in interviews when they were teens? Holding hands behind Suga and what not? They. Are. Still. Doing. It. Again. In. 2020. y'all
I can't with their asses.
I've said this before, I don't do these kinds of analysis- video analysis I mean. I literally can't do it. Lol. If I could I would. Y'all don't know how many days it's taken me to work this simple video edit. And even that I still had to solicit the help of my bestie- I'm starting to think she's more delusional than I am at this point. Lol. Bless her.
Anywho, we went through all that trouble falling on the video editing skills we don't have- well I don't have, I think she did great; not because of Jikook sneaky ass holding hands behind unsuspecting Suga in the the dynamite MV shooting sketch video- which Suga, It's been seven years and you still don't know what goes on between Jikook behind your back?? Jikook are smooth criminals but I'm starting to think Suga in on this. Smirk.
Suga is an accomplice y'all. Enabling these shenanigans as if he don't know. He knows!
Since my last post on VMinKookJoon's tensions, where I talked briefly about the subtle tensions that I've been noticing between Tae and JK throughout this year, it's come to my attention that Tuktukkers are running around the internet claiming the tension between V and Kook, in one of the clips I pointed out, had been because JK had been mad and Jealous over Jin wrapping his hands around Tae...
I respect their hustle. I really do. Plus, I don't like to meddle in other people's delusions- it brings me no joy whatsoever.
But...
Jk wasn't jealous over Tae shit- In my humble opinion. Was he mad at Tae? Yes. Did Tae notice JK was mad at him and hence drew a sad face? Yes he did. The video evidence is there. All of that happened.
If you've not seen the moment I am talking about please check my previous post to see what I'm talking about. I said I was going to delete it- well I lied. Lol.
The tension between Kook and Tae in that Dynamite Shoot Sketch wasn't because JK was jealous that Tae and Jin were flirting and playing around behind him, it was because Tae had almost accidentally exposed Jikook flirting behind Suga- Something, I assume JK thought V had done on purpose. Hear me out.
Tae was sad because, he genuinely didn't intend to pull on JK's shoulder the way he did causing JK to toggle slightly away from Suga- I wish I could show you this in a video analysis. This is frustrating! But I suck at tech stuff. Ugh!!!
What had happened was:
At the start of that scene, Jimin it seemed wanted to be close to JK- by close I mean he wanted to touch up on JK, feel up on him, kiss up on him, love up on him, hold him, slow dance with him, make love to him- Uno, horny grown up couple stuff. Lol.
Don't mind me.
I don't know what was going through his head in that moment but clearly he was craving some form of physical connection from JK hence why he initiated that contact.
You could see the progression of them drawing closer and closer to eachother, trapping Suga in between them.
Listen, JM is scary when he is high on adrenaline! That's when he starts rubbing JK's thighs and foot and- sweet lord he is wild. Chileeee!
He placed his hand in his pockets and pushed his body against Suga's but once he does that he takes his hand out and tugs on JK's arm or something- smooth criminal this one.
JK noticed what JM was up to so he did the same thing- pushed his body against Suga and held JM's hand. Then there was a cut.
It's hard to spot except for that the two had ended up after the cut sandwiching Suga in between them. Had it not been for Tae that moment would have gone undetected.
Whatever they were doing behind Suga, it seemed Tae had clocked on. He turned his gaze in their direction briefly and looked away suspiciously- Tae... How that man is great at acting but sucks at hiding his feelings beats me. Lmho.
This is the same person y'all swear is hiding a relationship in BTS? He mustn't be feeling emotions for this person then. Chileee.
Dude glanced at JM and exchanged what I could only assume was a disapproving stare at JM in the process. I bet he wanted to scream, 'let's not hold hands behind our hyungs' in that moment. Lol.
I think JK noticed Tae glancing at whatever they were doing with their hands behind Suga but kept his cool- so Jikook, y'all did all of that with a straight face? Damn they slick!
Unfortunately, Jin pushed Tae- I don't know if that was by accident because Jin was just playing around with Tae. However, because Tae had his hand wrapped around JK, he had ended up dragging JK along with him- That's when the Taekook saga began. Lol.
I believe JK had assumed Tae had done that bit on purpose because as I've said it is part of Taekook's dynamics - Tae is constantly teasing and shading JK and even sometimes passive aggressively exposing Jikook's antics as seen in the dynamite MV reaction VLive.
Remember in their earlier dynamics, that moment when JK wanted JM to stand next to him but Tae was in the middle so he kept poking at Tae's ribs to move? And JM too was low key pulling on Tae's shirt to move at the same time but Tae deadass wouldn't move?
I'M DEAD🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tae is that friend! Chileee. I just love him to bits!
I think Jk found it ironic that Tae should place his hand over his shoulders when a few seconds ago he had attempted to separate him from his man which is why he had that look on his face when he glanced at Tae's hand on his shoulder.
Frankly that thing is something that I feel irks JK a lot. Not just when Tae does it, but when RM or Hobi or Suga or anyone else does it.
That's what most of these Jeonlous moments are about really, especially in recent times.
For example, him elbowing RM to get his hands off Jimin in their recent Home performance wasn't because he was jealous. It's more so he was annoyed. If you paid attention to the 'fan service' bit Jikook did in the bedroom scene it's clear they had been given a talking to- to keep things PG, just as RM had indicated in JK's bdae VLive when he said they had all agreed before filming not to do and say certain things.
I could see then why it would irritate JK if anyone else would freely do skinship with JM but then censor him if he tried to do it with Jimin too- know what I mean?
Most of these 'jeonlous' moments are just JK basically saying, let's all be held to the same standards- if I can't do this with Jimin, atatatatatat, neither can y'all.
Gotta keep the same energy.
This is what I mean by stress. You can hide a relationship but you can't hide the stress that comes with keeping that relationship a secret. These kinds of tensions are bound to arise as a result of keeping Jikook a secret.
I mean there is a reason Jikook try so hard not to look like a secret. There is a reason they play off some of their interactions as 'fanservice'. They do that to take the edge off because keeping secrets is hard.
And so when you look at that moment, and you see how freely TaeJin were 'flirting' and having fun openly, but JK and JM had to sneak behind Suga's back to have a moment; and to have Tae pull on JK like that- I get why JK would be triggered. But honestly Tae didn't do it on purpose. Not this time around. Lol
Chileee, JK! You scare me! Lmho. He out here scaring people for no reason! Had Tae looking like he about to call Jimin to arrange a heart to heart meeting with Kook again. Chileeee.
It broke my heart watching that bit because Tae honestly didn't do that bit on purpose. I can vouch for him, JK. It is why Tae had that look on his face. He hadn't intended that bit.
This does not mean however that each time or all the times that Jk has pulled away from Tae when Tae has tried to hold his hands or do certain things with him like in all the times I've mentioned or during the recent On:e concert, that it's because he felt V was trying to sabotage his moments. That's a silly thought.
I can pull out a list of all the times there's been tensions between those two especially this year and I can tell you only a hand full of those moments have anything to do with JK's relationship with JM.
Some are about him trying to enforce his personal boundaries which he does with all the members as well, among other things.
Taekook have their own issues going on which has nothing to do with JM. Whatever falling out they had had in the past, Tae has been really trying to rebuild their connection- they both have been putting in the effort and I hope they can fix things and go back to the way that they were before because I kinda miss the old them. Sigh.
Anywho, when JM noticed what had happened- that Tae had pulled on JK's shoulder , I think he too thought Tae had done that bit on purpose. He dropped his hand from Hobi's shoulder and composed himself. I think he tried to take his hands down but JK wouldn't let go of his hand. Lol.
So when the music started playing and they were all dancing, JK and JM were the only once dancing with Just one hand each and you could see JM's shoulder inches away from Suga- Yoonminers I see you. I love y'all but JM wasn't holding Suga's waist. Don't get any ideas. Lol.
When they started moving away at the end of the video, that's when you can clearly see JM's hand drop down from behind Suga.
Listen, Jikook are smooth criminals but they ain't slick. They tried it. All that body pressed up against Suga, chilee I thought they were going to crash that man.
Jikook have been pretty sneaky this comeback. For good reason I guess. Jk throwing the boy with love sign at JM after JM kicked him during the second day concert, and this moment right here amongst others so far are my favorite.
I love it here.
Please go watch the original footage for yourself and draw your own conclusions.
My conclusion is, 'Jikook gay, Jikook married' Jikook is real, keep supporting them.

BIGHIT vs BTS SHIPS IN THE SOOP: Soop Episode 06 Analysis
PREFACE
Usually, I'd wait till I've seen all episodes of a serialized content such as Soop together with it's behind the scenes before making any analysis on it- I'm making an exception for Soop episode six for obvious reasons.
There's been talks. There's been wild, wild talks. Even before this episode aired, people had been raising concerns about BigHit- rightfully so, questioning the intentions behind BigHit's recent marketing approach.
What was of utmost concern to most people was the 'suspicious' timing and manner in which some ships within BTS were marketed and presented to us, 'pushed,' as they'd put it: Is Bighit trying to neutralise Jikook moments with other ships, they ask. Why is there a surge in Taekook content or Yoonmin or any ship's content immediately after a big Jikook moment?
2019 memories was Jikook centric, I bet 2020 memories will focus mainly on Taekook or another ship. Why is Jikook touchy in one moment, tame in another? Has BigHit asked them to tone things down? What is BigHit's agenda?
Then, after Soop episode 06, there were some questioning the effect Taekook mending their relationship openly like this is going to have on Jikook. Is Jikook just a casualty of Taekook, they ask. Will there be a surge in Taekook content henceforth? What will happen to Jikook now that Taekook are back to being buddies?
Chileee, all these weird ass, outrageous suspicions, and outlandish curiosities- I LOVE IT. Lol. Let's talk.
THE BIGHIT AGENDA
I think I have hinted at this BigHit agenda in a couple of my blog posts but allow me to reiterate and expand on it.
As explained in past posts, ships are fun and all but they are also a great organic marketing resource tool available to a marketer as it helps retain audience, keep engagement rates high and sustains people's interest in a piece of marketed content over time.
I explained that people may not be listening to BTS songs every day all year round but the average shipper would at least like and engage with a ship post a few times a day each day all year round. That impacts the relevancy of BTS in a way as far as marketing in concerned- don't even.
Ships have great commercial value in that sense. If flows from this then that all ships in BTS would be of great commercial value to BigHit not just Jikook or Taekook.
So you can imagine my frustration when people get uncomfortable with BigHit 'pushing' other ships besides Jikook or Taekook. These other ships, as low as their numbers may be, also have an audience that form part of the fandom that BigHit needs to cater for.
Jikook stands out of those ships because they are real- and deadass want to be shipped with each other. Lol.
Thus most, if not all, of their interactions are real, organic, barely induced, barely scripted or coerced. I said barely.
This is why the cameras love them. Editors love them, marketers love them, Music Video directors love them, corporate S.K loves them. They are fun to watch, they are fun to film and they have the numbers- great commercial value.
And whether BigHit knows this or not, they consciously and unconsciously gravitate towards Jikook in a way that ends up distinguishing Jikook from the others-
I mean, who wants to watch a three minute footage of X washing dishes when Jikook are busy flirting in the corner somewhere?
Unless X is making faces, struggling to hold a sponge or doing something ridiculously hilarious or meaningful- I'm yeeting myself out of there real fast. No apologies.
As much as we love BTS and love to support them, they gotta make certain content worth our while. And I think they understand this bit. BigHit understands this bit.
Hence why they have a content development team, a creative team that controls which content sees the light of day based on what they view as quality entertaining content worth the viewers while.
BTS do not have creative control over content that BigHit marketers put out. They haven't always had creative control over their content. Not until recent times. In my opinion.
You see this during MV reaction videos- for the love of God they themselves can't even tell who is which in certain MVs, or what a concept of a MV means- hell, they are still trying to figure out what the 'no more dream' cameo in the On MV means. Lol
Then there are times also that they act so surprised when certain moments make it to the screens or don't make it to the screens like the viral dance Jikook did in Dynamite.
And I see what people mean when they say BigHit plays favorites with Jikook. However, I feel favoritism is such a strong word.
Their 'favouritism' shows in the way they give more screen time to Jikook, because perhaps that brings them more money? example Memories 2019; rather than that they are actually giving preferential treatment to Jikook. They treat all of the boys the same, in my opinion.
But this exposure BigHit gives Jikook is double edged and comes with dire consequences.
On one hand, shipping wise, there are people who are confused out of their wits because they feel Jikook ought to be hiding if their real. And if BigHit knows they are real then they wouldn't be giving them this much exposure.
Then there are those that feel, the exposure BigHit gives Jikook is what has contributed to the growing popularity of Jikook as a brand seperate from BTS's own brand and as such has been competing against BTS's brand- I share similar views.
I'll address the former later but let's begin with this:
JIKOOK AS A BRAND
If you don't think Jikook is a brand or is shaping out to be a brand- you are in denial and I can't help you.
Jikook presents as a power couple, gay icons if I do say so myself- a brand. A very powerful brand quite frankly if you look at their commercial value. Look at the Ads you'll see what I mean.
And as a brand, I have explained that they have a tendency to overshadow the brand of BTS at times. Take for instance, JK leaning his head on JM's shoulder at MMA 2019. That had sent the crowd into a frenzy. Even though Tae was trying to deliver his speech at the same time, he had to wait till the crowd had settled before resuming his speech.
RM didn't seem too pleased with that, which is what had led to that infamous standoff moment between him and JK, as I've said in past posts.
Throughout the years, we've all seen moments like that where RM, being the leader of the group, has had to step in to control Jikook and curb certain interactions between them.
And I see this also confuses people because, one moment it seems RM is against Jikook's interactions and thus 'separates' them and in other instances he seems chilled about them and even gives the impression he supports Jikook. What gives?
RM is not against Jikook's relationship. He is against their relationship getting in the way of their work and careers and taking away attention from the band at instances where BTS should be the center of attention. I think.
And when at interviews, concerts, awards or even during a VLive such the 1st September, 2020 Billboard VLive, the headline in the news should read BTS did X, not JM lied about being with JK, or Jikook goofed around in the middle of a serious interview.
It is why BigHit had asked for a take down of a video article during On's promotion in February this year where the studio had deliberately included a footage of JK playing hide and seek with JM in the middle of an interview while RM was answering a rather serious question.
The studio decided Jikook goofing around was more screen time worthy than RM answering an important question. It's not hard to figure out why the studio did this. For the clout. For the attention. Jikook have people's attention. BigHit knows this, BTS know this, corporate institutions know this.
Which brings me to my next point of discussion: does BigHit know about Jikook?
No.
Not until recent times.
I feel they had their suspicions about Jikook. Suspicions which only grew louder especially after Rosebowl but had turned a blind eye to them so they could continue 'exploiting' their bond in a way that absorbs them of all guilt.
Because, acknowledging Jikook in that way would require them to assume certain legal and moral responsibilities to not only protect Jikook's interests but Jikook's privacy as well.
But here is the conundrum, how do they protect Jikook's privacy when the commercial worth of Jikook lies in their ability to commodify Jikook's intimate interactions and sell it to the consumer?
We are into Jikook because of all the moments BigHit has allowed to slip into screen time. Some, by accident but others I argue are by design- they ain't stupid.
And when I say them, I mean the higher ups not the people in the field working with them like the camera crew and editors.
Take for example that moment, where they intentionally put cameras in BTS's rooms without telling them and Jikook ended up walking into JK's room together. Jimin looked quite shook- bless him.
Then that moment where JK pretended to sleep as soon as he saw Jimin approaching- JM caressed him fondly but the cameras immediately panned from JK's face to Jimin's face as if they wanted to capture JM's whipped face. Again, Jimin didn't seem too pleased.
JK was equally not pleased when the cameras caught up to him and Jimin in the back of a track while they- well, they claim they were taking selfies for Twitter so...
There are plenty of moments like this. And when you pay attention to the captions they place on some of their videos- the boy in love with JK, a romantic date, why do you have to stand so close etc
Or even look at the type of content they script for BTS like in Rookie King where as punishment V and Hobi were made to kiss, or even as missions, the boys have been asked to act out some really gay shit and do some really questionable things- you'd understand the kind of content BigHit marketers consider marketable.
In Rookie King, Suga said he was wary of the writers because of the weird punishments they had written for them to perform.
Over the years, BTS have had to put their foot down and push back against BigHit's exploitative tendencies and shenanigans.
They've set boundaries on the kinds of things they will and will not do and have said they only engage in the skinship they want and feel comfortable doing.
So I see why RM would want to protect Jikook sometimes beyond the clashing of the two brands, BTS' brand and Jikook's brand.
He is very perceptive and knows how exploitative the company can be at times. And so while Jikook may be trusting that a certain intimate moment would be cut out of the final edit, RM would be wary of such moments and would rather they didn't create them at all.
Because he knows that's the kind of content BigHit wants and needs from them for their marketing purposes.
But Jikook isn't innocent either. Fucking slytherins- They know what they are doing. Those two don't seem to push back against BigHit commodifying certain intimate interactions between them. They expose themselves to us and to BigHit in an almost reckless way.
It's the exhibitionist in them. It's the ambitious drive in them. It's the the slytherin in them. It's a myriads of things in them that for a lack of a better term I'm just gonna refer to as weird- They are weirdos and they scare me.
BigHit is weird, wants BTS to do weird stuff, Jikook are weird and do weird stuff- it just works. Lol
But notice how lately things have changed? Notice how RM doesn't seem to be as controlling over Jikook as he used to be? How Jikook seems like they have a breathing space within BTS lately?
How BigHit seems to be conducting ships in BTS in a way that seems as if they are distributing screentime judiciously and giving them somewhat qual exposure?
How they don't seem to be 'hiding' Jikook anymore- memories 2019? Dynamite? How everything seems- healthy, domestic even for Jikook? Where Jikook is concerned at least?
I think BigHit has recently assumed management of Jikook as a brand and is marketing them as such.
I say this because I see BigHit taking a different approach to dealing with Jikook:
RM's approach had been to curb Jikook and stop their moments from happening before they happened and when that failed he would try to neutralize Jikook by mirroring certain Jikook mannerisms and interactions- like imitating how JK would turn to JM when he speaks, JK would say something about Jimin and RM would repeat it or recreate that moment with Jimin too or another member so it appears as if it was something they all did with one another all the time.
BigHit's approach, to me, has been to normalize Jikook by showing more of their interactions and more of their moments in order to take the spectacle out of it.
I have said this, that BigHit wants to make Jikook less of a spectacle so people don't go snooping around them for tea.
You see the distinction between these two different approaches during moments such as the 1st September VLive moment:
I mentioned in my analysis of that VLive that RM had kept cutting JM off, not allowing him to go on and on about his night with Jk.
His approach to handling that moment was to stop JM from spilling or giving away any detail that could lead people to add two and two together and arrive at the conclusion that Jikook were together that dawn, and this had resulted in a lot of omissions in their narration.
BigHit had had a different approach. In an interview a few days afterwards, they allowed for a question around that night to be directed at Jimin and I feel they had asked Jimin to tell his truth as long as that is what he wanted to do. And we all know the choice he made.
Another instance of this difference is when RM thought Jikook goofing around in the Dynamite MV was inappropriate because they weren't taking things seriously but JM had explained to him he had improvised that scene based on the vibe of the song and with the director's encouragement-That scene ended up in the final MV.
Which brings me to Soop:
BTS SHIPS IN THE SOOP
One thing to keep in mind, before we proceed is that, there is an interconnectedness of things within the BigHit/BTS/Jikook- verse, from my point of view. And if you miss that interconnection you might end up confused about certain moments when they happen- like Soop.
Personally, I keep an eye on two parallel timelines where Jikook and BigHit is concerned:
There is the uWu worthy moments that exist in isolation for us to consume and make nothing off, then there is another less visible timeline that interconnects some of these isolated moments.
It's a bit hard to keep track of this invisible timeline because BigHit does not feed us some content in real time and by the time certain moments are released it's meaning and context is lost on us- but I'm a nerd and don't have a life so... they should try harder. Lol.
If you've been around my blog for a while, anything happening on Soop would not come as a shock to you- unless you've not been paying attention, in which case- WHAT THE FUCK?!
Let me recap but skip if you are an avid reader of my blogs or have read them all:
[Warning: DELULU DELUXE AHEAD]
As explained in past blog posts, I see Rosebowl, August 2019, February-March On promotions and May 2020 as all interconnected in my opinion and is what I think has led Jikook and BTS to where they are now- being managed my BigHit.
Rosebowl put Jikook in BigHit's full view. They couldn't ignore what Jikook were anymore. They had cut it close. But they didn't make much of it because it had happened on stage and could be easily explained away as fanservice.
Then New Jersey VLive happened and that was the last straw. Sanctions were placed on Jikook and they were banned from filming a Vlive by themselves. Bare with me. Lol
August 2019: Jikook's secrets almost gets spilled. Impromptu break, girls scandal to control said Jikook scandal- read more about this is my analysis on the Tattoo girl scandal.
October 30th happens: Mass emailing to BigHit to cancel Jikook for promoting homophobia. Not a big deal because again those moments people were angry about had happened on stage.
But BigHit assumes Jikook is going to be a problem if left unchecked.
RM being the leader of the group and someone BigHit respects, is tasked to keep his boys under control. He feels pressured. He puts a lot of pressure on Jikook to tone things down- y'all saw the heavy monitoring and supervision during this phase- don't even.
This doesn't go to well, creating lots of tensions within the group from there on to March 2020- please get with the timeline on my past posts.
Things escalate in March 2020 when JK interrupts JM's call to ask him on a date and say I love you blah blah blah. This leads to more tensions within the group because JK appears to be rebelling at this point against RM's control and his interference with their relationship- Don't mess with JK's lovey-dovey hours. He'll kill you.
JM isn't spared either. There is a lot of pressure on him being the eldest of the two to Keep JK in line. This in turn creates a lot of tension between him and Jk. Which sparks the push and pull dynamic that's marked later parts of 2019 and early half of 2020.
This pressure leads to a lot of tensions between Jimin and Suga as well- JK didn't tease them in that MV reaction video for nothing and JM didn't have that reaction for nothing either. I think the Yoonminers know what I'm talking about. Ask them. Lol
All these tensions and pressure- JM asks for space within their relationship. JK throws tantrums on the internet- never not think about you, still with you yadda yadda yadda- Hey, I said delulu hours ok? Lol
JK snaps. Decides he's not gonna have a VLive with anyone until the sanctions on him and JM banning them from having a VLive together are lifted-
Thats the thing about JK. I feel out of the two, he is the one that fights for their rights to be themselves and have the freedom within the group to pursue their relationship. Left to the Hufflepuff half blood nerf herder, he would sacrifice their happiness and their rights for the Kumbaya of the group- Real saint that one. Lol.
BigHit pulls their contract over his head, have JK do certain VLives he didn't want to do under strict supervision. Mind you, at this point only a few members are holding down the social media engagement forts.
JK does this Live, feels tensed, runs to Weverse to further complicate matters for BigHit by telling everyone how awkward he felt about the VLive- where is my damn green snake emoji? Where is my sorting hat- SLYTHERIN
Dude didn't want to do that live. Deadass. In my opinion. Quite honestly, I don't think Tae wanted to do that live either. But more on that in my next blog.
In JK's VLive with Jimin, notice how he kept hinting at his discomfort with the presence of staff around them? His problem in the Taekook VLive wasn't with Tae per se. It was with BigHit making him do things he didn't want to do. Dude ain't slick.
Why would he result to such antics, you might ask. Because social media is a huge bargaining tool for them in balancing the power dynamics between them and BigHit.
They all do this not just JK quite frankly. BigHit used to trust BTS to handle their social media activities with little to no supervision from BigHit. They were engaging with their fans and growing their fanbase. It was all good until growth set it.
The rate of change in growth of the campany and BTS's brand varies indirectly to the rate of change in trust they put in BTS.
What this means is, the larger their fan base grew, and the larger BigHit got, the less trust they had in BTS- One wrong post by any member could create a scandal, sending the entire empire crumbling down.
Jikook, well JK, hasn't exactly been trust worthy in that regard.
I have explained in past posts, how JK has learned to weaponize this influence against people of power within BTS and BigHit that threatens his relationship with JM.
We see this in moments during interviews where he's teased his relationship- like when he felt RM was crossing boundaries with JM during an interview and so when he was asked what he liked most about himself he pointed in JM's direction and said my 'boy-oice' instead of voice. RM nearly shit his pants. Bless him.
JK doesn't want to hide his relationship at all and so that gives him a strong bargaining power when negotiating with people who would rather he hides it. Aka RM, BTS and perhaps BigHit.
Although for BigHit, I feel, it's not so much as they want Jikook to hide. It's more they don't want a scandal as a result of Jikook's secrets. They don't want to be blind sided by a Jikook scandal. Especially one they aren't prepared for.
If there is anything that S.K corporations shy away from its scandals. Search it up.
Why would JK do this at this point and not sooner? Because BigHit was in a vulnerable position at that point in time? Their IPO was coming and they didn't need any in house trouble that could impact their IPO- Slick. I know.
They couldn't ignore what Jikook are anymore because, unfortunately,a gay relationship is exactly the kind of news that could negatively impact the company's IPO.
I feel they were forced to confront and acknowledge Jikook this year and demand the truth from them, upon which they have had a contingency plan in place for when Jikook accidentally or intentionally outs themselves without notice or for when a third party outed them out of the blue.
Secondly, I feel JK was rebelling at this phase because BTS's contract was officially renewing in June? It was his speak now or forever remain silent moment, I suppose.
JK has been on a track to assert himself and demand he be treated like an adult and respect and not like a child within the group especially since their On promotions this year- Chileee, he's been pretty hardcore.
JK is rebellious. One way he rebels is through absenting himself from social media- we not seeing Jikook online anytime soon unless they are gearing up for eachother's birthdays again- they ain't slick.
Moving on, I think BigHit felt they didnt have a choice but to step in and control the situation- which, rightfully so. It was getting quite chaotic.
They have seven long years ahead to work together as a group and they can't afford cracks like this in their midst.
BigHit's plan with thus was to have them all sit and talk and reconnect, rebuild their bond- Hence SOOP.
It wouldn't be the first time they've done this. Rookie King was filmed for this exact reason: so members could air their grievances and move on from it.
But I feel, BigHit had spoken with everyone individually behind close doors to figure out what everyone's problem was.
And I'm guessing, BTS's grievances against Jikook was that they were worried Jikook would do something that's going to abruptly end their careers amongst other things.
In which case, Jikook's grievances, amongst other things, would be RM and BTS controlling and interfering in their personal matters- their relationship.
I would lie if I said I've seen Soop, I haven't. Except for episode six. So I will not share my opinion on it- I don't have one. Yet. Lol.
But Taekook's conversation in Soop 06 is one of the conversations I expected and frankly anticipated from Soop due to the things I felt were going on in the timeline I've explained above.
When I read the concept for Soop I was excited. I have been expecting a Yoonmin healing moment, a Namkook healing moment, a Taekook healing moment, a YoonKook healing moment- Vmin not so much. They had their issues in February but I feel they squashed it real fast. But I would still love to see Tae on his Vmin agenda. Lol
These pairs I've mentioned are the pairings within BTS I feel had been fractured along the way, in the immediate timeline we've discussed, where Jikook is concerned.
There are other pairs besides these that I feel needs to heal and reconnect as well. I'm not going to talk about them here because they are unrelated to Jikook and irrelevant to our discussions.
Now, again, I've not seen Soop, so I don't know if there has been any such healing moments and honest conversations resembling that of Taekook's in episode six but I have seen other moments outside Soop that I think reflects this concept of healing I speak of.
The first would be NamKook and I think we've all seen in the later half of 2020, post June that there's been an increase in their interactions. Yoonkook too.
Initially, it felt as if RM was keeping Kook close in order to monitor him but after seeing him in Dynamite MV reaction video- it didn't seem like he was monitoring him in that kind of way? Hear me out.
If felt more like he was trying to get in JK's good graces- Or perhaps he is doing both, but not in an overt manner that is gonna have JK spelling his name for him at the back of his head with his frying pan. Lol
I have a blog post on my wall titled JK has a problem with RM. I know, I've joked repeatedly about the frenemy dynamics between those two but lately it feels they are really making a conscious effort to spend time together, and try to repair their bond- good for them.
And because RM monitoring Jikook and interfering in their relationship is the root cause of Jk's problems with RM, I see why RM would want to step back from doing all of that now.
The vibe in BTS lately smacks of respect and consideration. Which simply wasn't the case before hand.
There was a lack of sensitivity and consideration even in the way they handled Jikook's secret, especially RM- not to throw him under the bus.
I've mentioned how his attitude post 2018, totally disregards JK's authority over Jimin as his boyfriend. In wanting to help 'hide' Jikook's relationship, they ended up crossing certain boundaries that only ended up infuriating JK.
Imagine, having to live in a society and community that doesn't regard his place and position as Jimin's partner and not having access to certain freedoms, certain basic human rights by virtue of his sexuality and having to work all year round in an environment where his rights and privileges are equally curtailed, censored and dictated by his peers- Naa, JK needs to wield his frying pan more often. That's absolute nonsense. I feel for him.
So imagine my surprise when in the recent KSB interview where BTS were asked about their secret to staying together Hobi used those exact words: respect and consideration- seemed to me like something he had read from a self help book in recent times. But let's not talk about that. Lol. Bless him.
RM jumped in to explain that keeping boundaries and not interfering in each other's personal business was something that had also helped strengthen their bond- something some people misinterpret to mean he meant BTS aren't close to eachother, ergo no ship is real... Alright then.
Now, I found this interview quite interesting because BTS were singing a different song in there. These are the same people that had said their lack of boundaries with each other is what set them apart from other brands and what had kept them together through the years.
I felt from this that something has changed fundamentally between the members in their group dynamics. Does it have anything to do with Jikook- I'm bet my edges it does. Lol
Jimin has changed, JK has changed. I've said previously at the start of Dynamite promotions how I felt Jimin and JK seemed to be asserting themselves against eachother and against the group dynamics- I stand by it.
Also, I see Yoonmin trying to bicker less and actively trying to repair their friendship- good for them. I don't know for the other episodes on Soop but in the episode six that I watched I saw Suga really trying with JM and Kook with RM- not mad at that.
Not sure if they are spending time together in other episodes as well but I hope they do. I hope the friendships that were broken in the cause of the timeline above are spending quality time around eachother in there one way or the other. Can't wait to see all the episodes.
I won't be surprised if Jikook is on the back burner and not front center because Soop is not about them. But again, I won't mind another Jikook date by the lake- hear me, oh Jikook gods!
Which brings me to Taekook- But for a separate post.
CONCLUSION
With everything that's been said here, I hope you understand BigHit pushing other ships besides Jikook is not the agenda. It is something but nothing at the same time.
To BTS we are family. To BigHit we are customers, consumers. The only thing they thus care about is customer satisfaction and longevity of their business model. And the only thing that can hurt the longevity of their business model is a scandal- they are going to do anything to prevent one.
As long as Jikook isn't creating a scandal- outing themselves or getting outed by someone with real proof and a platform, I don't think they will have a problem with BigHit.
BigHit's agenda is to avoid a scandal at all cost while keeping the customers satisfied and making more money.
Thus, every content they put out, every ship they highlight is to keep their customers satisfied and their numbers soaring high, basically.
They don't pander to consumers and customers like Taekookers because what they require of BigHit is beyond BigHit's control- they want BigHit to make their ship behave the way Jikook does- which is insane and impossible.
Jikook is the most coveted ship amongst BTS ships and often nonJokers find themselves wishing for their ship dynamics. And because their ship doesn't behave that way, they come up with the most ridiculous theories unheard of since Moses crossed the red sea with a bamboo stick-I'm not an atheist, I assure you. I just find it equally ridiculous. Lol.
It's sad that these people don't understand that Jikook act the way they do because they want to. It is their choice. No one is forcing them to and when they are forced to interact moments like the Taekook VLive happens.
It's frustrating that these shippers don't respect their ship bias's boundaries, their choice to not cross certain limits for the cameras or behave in any certain way for commercial purposes.
They call Jikook fanservice then would proceed to mass email BigHit to have their ship do the fanservice some- y'all make it make sense please.
Fanservice or not, what it comes down to is, Jikook knows how to keep their fanbase satisfied. They want to keep their fanbase satisfied, they can keep us satisfied and they do keep us satisfied while satisfying themselves- it's a win win and we ain't complaining.
Let the 'dissatisfied customers' call it fanservice, we say it's a glass closet- that's on period.

GOLDY
RE JIMIN'S LOVE LANGUAGE
This is in response to questions I've received in my message box following my recent post on Jimin's love language. Ignore this if you've read my main post on this same topic- Or maybe not.
Also, I'm sorry about the Asks. I accidentally turned it off- AGAIN. Thanks for drawing my attention to it. I purple y'all.
What I meant by my last post was that, for us to understandJimin or even the rest of the members' love language, it is important we make a distinction between what is uniquely Jimin/the individual members' love language and what is their culture's or even the established and accepted practices within their group.
And on that, I said skinship is a cultural practice but also one of the group's adopted love languages. It is their way of achieving intimacy and bonding with eachother and as such they do not associate romantic connotations with it.
Thus, when they touch eachother in any way, provocative as it may seem to us, to them there is nothing romantic about it at all. So when Taekook, Jikook, Yoonmin or any of these pairs touch eachother, it is not with romantic intentions.
Why then does Jimlous and Jeonlous exist? For a myriad of reasons other than that skinship is romantic! Lol
I've explained previously, that JK and Jimin's discomfort with each other's skinship with the others often has to do with the lack of boundaries that is inherent in skinship rather than that they are actually jealous or see skinship as romantic. This is often true for Jimin.
With JK, his possessive nature very often amplifies his discomfort with the lack of boundaries but also because, out of the seven, he is the only one that had had a problem accepting and participating in the skinship culture within the group- well, him and Suga. It's taking them some getting used to.
But that wasn't because he was viewing skinship as romantic but rather because he was uncomfortable with affections and the overt expressions of it as is required of skinship.
That's not to say they do not or have not implied romantic intentions with their touches- there is nothing platonic about boners. Lol.
And any skinship that results in a visible sexual tension or arousal can no longer be deemed skinship- it's foreplay.
Jikook does skinship all the time like everyone else in the band, but often too some of those skinship crosses the platonic threshold into sexual foreplay- they ain't slick.
You just have to see the look on Tae's face when he noticed, through the view finder, Jimin caressing JK's thumb to comprehend that not all their touches are mere skinship.
That's one of the differences between Jikook and the other ships; Jikook presents a mutual sexual attraction towards eachother beyond the pubescent hormonal teen frenzy that marked their early formative days- god, those boys were so horny they could hump a tree to death. Bless them.
Mind you, I disregard any sexual innuendos that was present in Jikook's dynamics as well as any other ship's dynamics, if ever there was one, during that hormonal teen period of their lives. It was all something but nothing at the same time. They were all just being horny and gross teenage boys- Hashtag, war of hormones for real for real. Lol
All that that timeline taught me was, Jikook are freaky af and certainly don't see each other as brothers. CERTAINLY.
That being said, for a better understanding of Jimin's love language, a distinction must be made between love language and sexual interest. It will make sense in a bit.
Because Jimin's father is an affectionate person and this is the love language he has taught to Jimin, Jimin interprets any affectionate and kind act as a loving gesture. It is how he gives love, it is how he receives love.
He values kindness and compassion, selflessness, vulnerability, transparency, fairness etc.
Thus to show his love for you he will be kind to you, vulnerable with you, transparent with you, supportive of you and nurturing of you.
We see him being like this with all the members, even the staff and dancers too at times but more so with Tae and JK.
The question then is, how does Jimin receive love? What actions does he interpret as love? Easy, sexual attraction. Hear me out.
You see, because Jimin is a natural nurturer and he sees nurturing as a universal love language that everyone speaks or ought to speak, he requires his romantic love interest to distinguish between their platonic love interest and their romantic love interest.
To fulfill him emotionally, you would have to make him feel special, treat him differently from your friends, and let him know that you want him and only him.
Sexual interest is one way of distinguishing between platonic interests and romantic interests, and it flows from this that he not only requires grand gestures, or special treatment but that you flirt with him as well.
Hence his emphasis on flirting. He likes to flirt. He enjoys it. He's mastered it. He's a fucking pro at it- give him his medal.
Just to be clear, even though flirting is part of his love language, he has also adopted flirting as part of his idol persona and often when he is flirting overtly he is only doing it for the 'fan service.'
But that doesn't mean all of that is fan service. Sometimes it's blatant foreplay as I've explained above and if you can't tell the difference between his foreplay and fanservice- chileee, I can't help you.
I'm still traumatized by that Bon V 4 moment. Sweet Jesus, save me if they should keep this energy up!
It's important, at this point, to note that because Jimin is a nurturer, every decent human being can easily be compatible with him. I have said several times over my blog that Jimin is ship compatible with anyone and everyone- I ain't mad at that.
What it comes down to then is whom he prefers and whom he is choosing to make him happy and to fulfill him. I explained that choice and being able to be in charge of decision making and to make his own decisions is very important to Jimin because on his background.
And when it comes to love, it's no secret who Jimin wants. He wants JK and that's on Periodttt.
I explained that in the early days during Rookie King, he felt he needed to get emotionally closer to JK when he had an opportunity to talk and heal as a group- his personal was important to him.
In that JinJikook VLive when Jin was eating a lollipop in a provocative way he asked him to stop immediately but couldn't, for the love of god, tear his eyes off JK when JK ate his lollipop in a- I can't. Jikook!
Unless he is in his fan service mood or is being his slytherin slash whore of babylon self- bless him, often he would reject any attempt by anyone to flirt with him except JK.
And I keep reiterating this, flirting isn't JK's thing. It's Jimin's thing. The last time JK tried to this flirty- he cried. Lmho
Take that interview where the host moved closer to Jimin in a flirty way for example. Jimin leaned back away from him. In the popular words of Jimin- don't do that.
Then in this airport scene right here, where Suga and Tae tried to protect JM from getting mobbed (if video is missing check bottom of this post. I hate tumblr)
You could see Jimin moving towards JK. Now some may argue he was trying to protect the JK who seemed oblivious to what was going on but I beg to differ.
I just think Jimin was moving towards JK because that's his safe haven. That's the person he feels the most safe with. 'Jk will protect' 'JK is strong.' He felt threatened and his instincts was to fin that person whom he feels would and should protect him- and that person usually isn't very far away.
And no, I'm not being biased. It's just I can't in good conscience theorize and make wild assumptions about Jimin's emotional needs the way I would the other's because unlike the others, Jimin keeps showing us what he wants. Y'all are just not listening.
It is why I said, JK on paper seemed like the last person to meet Jimin's emotional needs. He didn't strike me as the ambitious type or the daring type the way Yoongi presented himself in early days. It is why I shipped Yoonmin or even Vmin.
And even in those ships, I didn't believe they were real. Suga was too emotional closed off and wouldn't
And as I explained, having been denied his ambitions, it's not a stretch to assume, Jimin desires an ambitious partner. One who loves the stage, loves their career.
But I feel, most people including myself underestimated Jungkook. As much as JK may not appear as ambitious career wise, he is one of the most passionate members of group.
His decision to join BTS was driven purely by passion, his decision to start GCF, get a tattoo and every other endeavor he's embarked has been driven purely by his passion. And passion is a variant of ambition.
Jimin pursues his ambitious and JK pursues his passions- they are the same in the same way. And I see why Jimin will tell JK they are one and the same. They are more alike than we think they are.
So yes, Jimin needs an ambitious partner but a passionate partner equally suffices.
What equally suffices is a supportive partner. One willing to sacrifice their ambitions or needs when it comes to it, to accommodate Jimin's needs. Jimin is very competitive in nature and hates to lose, we've been told.
And nobody lets Jimin win the way JK does. Nobody. It's funny, because VMin's dumpling fight took days/weeks to resolve. And Jikook's raining dat fight took a few hours.
What hit me about that tale as told by Jikook was JK going to Jimin to resolve their fight- another instance he let Jimin win. Tae loves Jimin but I don't see him sacrificing his ego and pride the way JK would for Jimin. I don't see any member doing that for Jimin quite frankly.
It is one way I see JK nurturing Jimin. Jk can be hard headed but there is a softness and a tenderness to him that's speaks to Jimin's love language.
I can go on and on about this topic, you know? Lol

JIKOOK: IS JIMIN LYING ABOUT JK'S BIRTHDAY NIGHT?
There's been talks within the shipping community about certain inconsistencies surrounding Jimin's narration and account of his whereabouts on the dawn of JK's birthday.
To some, this topic is moot and irrelevant because they want to take Jimin's word at face value and believe he was in fact with JK on the dawn of his birthday as he said just because JM said so while ignoring all the valid questionable inconsistencies that others like myself find a bit jarring.
I must admit people who want to believe they were together without question and those who don't believe they were together are both pursuing an agenda: they both want to ascertain a narrative that sits perfectly well with their own shipping euphoria and as such would interpret these facts to appease their wants and desires.
I am neither of those. I don't want Jikook to be real, I don't need Jikook to be real, JIKOOK IS JUST REAL and I support them. Jikook is not just a ship, in my opinion, it's a relationship. An actual romantic relationship.
I believe they are real not because of a theory I read somewhere, an analysis I watched or because they hugged or didn't hug.
My belief in them comes from my own observations and intuitions about them. Thus, I find it necessary to not only open myself to enjoy the heart swoon worthy moments they give us but also to look into any moment, rumor, gossip or anything that may indicate a possibility that my assumptions about them is wrong. No one is making me think they are real or not real except them.
It is why, my first instinct was to question that entire VLive on JK's birthday. It had my senses going haywire. Things were just not adding up to me:
V asking Jimin to come over (why would he if he knew JM was with JK that dawn)
Jk asking if JM and V cried together and the expression on his face( surprised to me. But that's open to interpretation?
What confused me the most is, I 'know' Jimin. This may sound a bit obnoxious but bare with me. We all know how JM rolls. He wouldn't hesitate to let us know if he was with JK. I mean, as soon as JK said he cried when he *heard* the news, JM jumped in with 'I'm the one that told him' and he seemed pretty proud about that.
JM loves to flaunt and flex his bond with JK so it was a bit interesting to me that he wasn't forthcoming with the details, like what JK did, how he cried etc. Now I noticed he was cut off twice whenever he tried to talk about JK which I assumed could be why he couldn't divulge as much details of their nights as is quintessential of him.
I also found it interesting that JK didn't tell us where he heard the news. Jimin did tell us where he heard the news from. I found it interesting that RM said his friends called him. Friends as in plural, yet proceeded to say Jimin called him. Jimin is his friend not his friends.
Then Jimin saying he spoke to V after hearing the news also raised my brows. Don't get me wrong, I've always believed JM is more open and emotionally dependent on Tae than any of the members besides Jk and so him going to Tae while sobbing wasn't surprising.
What was surprising was, you would think JK was the first person he would go to with news like this. Unless, JK was with him when he found out the news which is what I thought until JK said he found out about the BB chart late because he had been sleeping.
I don't think if he was sleeping with JM, in the same apartment that is, that JM wouldn't yell and wake him up and tell him. Like who would do that?
So that VLive left me with two questions:
A. Why Jk found out about their BB late
B. Why JM was cut off
[My Analysis. Might be controversial. Proceed with caution]
With these questions at the back of my mind, I started connecting dots (at least to me) as I watched today's interview with the press.
In that VLive, as much as people want to argue their reaction was raw and perhaps less 'censored,' I disagree. I noticed JM was a bit less hyper than usual, true. He seemed pushed to the back, figuratively, and this could be seen in moments when he was seemly cut off from speaking- that is not Park loud Jimin. He doesn't get cut off. He does the cutting off.
He just wasn't in his element in that VLive. Dare I say, he was holding himself back a lot from acting over excited which I would have loved to see. He was suppressing his instincts and trying to stay calm. Was he emotional and vulnerable and perhaps tired? May be. Regardless, there were moments of outburst where his true self broke through, like the footsie, yelling 'it was me' acting giddy and excited here and there etc.
Then Suga said something that caught my attention. He said to Tae they had discussed before the VLive that no one was supposed to say anything outrageous. Suddenly, everything made sense to me. If they had discussed that then they could have also discussed Jikook not saying anything to give themselves away.
They wanted the focus on the Live to be on their BB chart congratulatory speech. I mean it was all in the title of that VLive: 1st in Billboard, Army Gather Around. I have said in past posts that Jikook is under heavy supervision especially this half of the year. I mentioned in my last post that I wouldn't be surprised if JM wouldn't give us a repeat of last years for this exact reason.
I believe they were asked not to give details about the two of them especially since it would be easier for people to connect the dots that way: Jikook together on the dawn of JK's birthday again- they might as well have a wedding there and then.
And the thing about JM, he is a terrible liar. Take my word for it. Lol. When he is forced not to tell things as it is, we end up with inconsistencies as we've had- to me anyway.
I strongly believe this to be so because during today's Press Conference he began with a 'lie' but gave it up real quick because he just couldn't keep pretending anymore.
When he was asked about how he had found out the news and what his reaction was he began by saying, I heard, I was shocked at first... his narration was from the first person singular point of view. Then he looks to RM to ask what time the news broke:
That was when I knew something was wrong. Jimin was up around 12am because he had wished JK a happy birthday on Twitter. Now he says he was up until 7am when he fell asleep from exhaustion.
RM too had said JM was the one that called him to tell him the news because he was sleeping at the time. After which he checked and posted it in their group chat. JM said he called V too.
So why would JM ask RM when the news broke? Dude was asleep. Unless, he was forgetting the PR story he was meant to spin. Which is evident from the way he quickly switched from using 'I' to 'we'. We were together, we called our friends, we were looking at our phones etc.
I am no body language expert, but from the way his head hung down it seemed he had thrown in the proverbial towel and had decided to recall events from memories as is.
From JK's reaction he seemed very pleased with that decision JM had made. Unlike the look on his face when JM and Tae were going on about crying together and he just kept staring at JM intensely- something he does quite often. And JM was unable to meet his gaze which says a lot. I'll leave it there.
I am not insinuating the VMin account was fabricated. Not at all. As I've explained earlier, those two are very emotionally dependent on eachother and JM have said once Tae is the one he talks to when he is going through it. What I'm saying is, JK seemed surprised from the way he asked 'you cried together?' and let's ignore the little tongue in cheek moment people may or may not have noticed when Tae was going on and on about Jimin being vulnerable with him.
That moment reminded me of the time JK got 'Jeonlous' when he heard JM and Jin had been 'bonding' by playing together without his knowledge. He is constantly with JM so he gets surprised and a bit 'jealous' when he learns JM had a moment with anyone.
If something happens with Jimin in his absence, he wouldn't be as much surprised by it. Sure it would be surprising but- know what I mean?
Like just the mere fact that he acts surprised whenever he learns of something new involving Jimin or a moment Jimin has had with another member- like the others don't get worked up as he does. That should tell you JK has an expectation when it comes to Jimin: he expects to know everything about Jimin- his likes, dislikes, hobbies, where he's at, where he's been, who he's been with- almost as if he feels he is entitled to that kind of informational access to Jimin.
What I'm saying is, perhaps he didn't expect VMin's moment because Jimin was with him or was supposed to be with him at the time it happened and so he was surprised how all that could have happened without him knowing. I bet him and Jimin had a long chat about that moment after the VLive. Lol.
Anywho, moving on, I believe JM's version of the story as told in the press conference simply because that was the real, uninhibited Park Jimin. He has always referred to himself as a unit with JK 'we' and has always been open about his interest in JK. He always talks about JK. He always does. Someone I know once told me, you can hide a relationship but you can't hide intimacy and that's how I know Jikook is real.
I don't think JM lied in the VLive, I just think he tried to omit certain details which resulted in a choppy narration.
I believe when RM said his friends called him he meant JK and Jimin but because he didn't want to draw attention to Jikook as pre discussed by the members which is why he only mentioned Jimin's name and not JM and JK.
RM said his friends called him, JM said 'we- he and JK' called Namjoon and told NamJoon they were able to accomplish all that because of him. A fact that was mentioned during the Live but had conveniently left out JK. Jimin also said they called their friends which by that I think he meant Suga, Tae and co.
Jk found out about the news at the same time as Jimin. I think he said he found out late because he wasn't awake at the time JM woke him up to share the news.
I don't think JM called the others and cried before telling JK because JM said they called their friends- which I assume they did together via loud speaker which is why RM knew JK lost his voice from crying.
And you could tell from the way JM and JK looked at eachother when JM said the first thing that came to mind was his fans that JK had something to add to that. He wouldn't if he hadn't shared that moment with JM first hand.
They both knew the feeling and most importantly they both felt liberated talking about that moment openly- when I tell you Jikook don't like hiding their relationship or even lying about it!
It's hard to hide a relationship and now that they are being made to hide it it's going to be much harder on them since they've never had to hide and have always benefited from that glass ceiling. But that ceiling is closing.
This is just my thoughts. Feel free to share yours with me.
Keep supporting Jikook.
