7. Is there anything you used to like, but now can’t stand?

"Anything."  This is weird and vague.  UM.  A lot of tv shows, I guess?  Also when I first started liking Les Mis I was much less critical so I liked a lot of actors who I no longer do.  I thought Ramin was okay as Enjolras for example.  I mean, I'D READ THE BOOK, I just wasn't particularly skilled at picking apart performances and reading into acting decisions so my criteria at first was "don't be Nick Jonas".  (I mean I liked the musical before that concert but that still happened during this period where I was getting used to the musical and I didn't have STRONG OPINIONS like I do now.)

8. Unpopular opinion about [insert fandom here]?

I already did Les Mis and AH I DON'T KNOW, WHAT OTHER FANDOMS DO I HAVE...?  Let me know if there's one in particular I should do?!

Theatre programs!  My OCD requires me to buy one per show, which was fucking irritating at Billy Elliot where their goddamn programs were literally half the size of me.  I was just staring at it with a “the fuck is this shit” face before caving in.  Ugh.

Wal-mart.

Les Misérables!

How I discovered it: I read the book three years ago and when I finished I decided I wanted to see the musical, because I knew it was a musical but hadn’t heard any of the songs or anything, so I got the TAC off netflix and the rest is history…!

If I have seen it, the first time I saw it: It was actually just over a year ago, when I saw the US tour.  :)

Favorite song: Empty Chairs at Empty Tables, tied with the Do You Hear the People Sing? reprise.

Favorite character: I… ?!?!?!  I usually say Marius because I think he’s one of the most complexly human characters in the brick, plus he’s my socially awkward spirit animal.  But.  Also Enjolras and Combeferre and Valjean and Montparnasse and Fantine and book Eponine okay I’m done I swear.

Least favorite character: I honestly don’t have one.  Thenardier kind of grates on me in the musical but then sometimes he’s played REALLY WELL and I think he’s kind of brilliant in the book (in a horrible way of course) and I just…?!  I really don’t have a least favorite character.

OTP (If any): I… don’t really do shipping in Les Mis?!  Eponine/Montparnasse or Marius/Cosette, I guess.

Favorite portrayal: Jon Robyns as Marius and David Thaxton as Enjolras.

Least favorite portrayal: Gareth Gates as Marius.

Whether I’d see it [again]: I mean… if I HAVE to…
