Normal night. It should be easy. As far she knew, the usual rogues were either behind bars or laying low for the evening. All that was out tonight were criminals with no name and just wanted to make trouble that was quick and easy. She could take them down with her hands tied.

Or, with a nasty fever that made the world feel like it was constantly spinning.

Black Bat let out a wet, hacking cough and covered her nose from the cold winter breeze. She had just taken down two robbers, sneezing all over them in the process, when she started feeling light headed. Fresh air. All she needed was fresh air. She pulled out a cable and propelled herself into the air. She did a flip and reached out. However, it seemed like the ledge all but disappeared from under her and she missed it. She gasped, realizing she was falling fast, and tried to grab at the building with her claws. It wasn't working.

Wonder Woman had decided to go to Gotham City. She had heard a lot of it's corrupt government and thought they needed some sense smacked into them. She walked down the main street on her way to the mayors office. Sword and shield in hand, even though she wasn't planning to use them for lethal reasons. The call went out and over police broadcast which of course the whole batfamily was hacked into

"God, Dick.." Barbara murmured in acrobat's ear as they gripped each other tightly. "I thought I'd never see you again.." Pulling back from him, vulnerable green eyes locked on his face. Afraid he was going to disappear and be replaced with his evil twin. She opened her mouth to say something else, but thought better of it. Instead she just leaned forward and pressed her lips to his, her tongue darting out to find his.

Bolting up right, Barbara swallowed a scream as her hands gripped the blanket around her tightly. Her eyes darted back and forth around the room, only relaxing marginally when she realized she was in Dick's apartment in Bludhaven with him sleeping peacefully beside her on his side, back facing her. Taking a shaky inhale to steady her trembling heart, Barbara moved closer to him, draping her arm over his side. Feeling his pulse thump steadily under her hand, she closed her eyes tightly and pressed a trembling kiss against one of the scars on his back.

"...Please don't pull a disappearing act on this patrol, Grayson. I will totally force you to sleep on the couch if I have too." They both knew the threat was weak, Barbara would cave as soon as she started missing the familiar weight beside, but damn it. She didn't know if she could take him travelling to other worlds without notice. Suddenly, she felt really bad for Linda, she realized. Being the wife and mother of speedsters could not be easy. Letting out a soft sigh, the redhead leaned up and pressed a kiss to Nightwing's jawline. "Be careful, finger strips. Or I'm sending Red hood after you."
