this is a couple months old now but it was for a uni assignment - we had to paint a character in action! trying to get the perspective right nearly KILLED me

a compilation of nijirou’s faces from a rough draft im working on…… his expressions are my absolute favourite to draw
trying to practice drawing faces consistently! we have a character based assignment for concept art this term, and if you think i’m not gonna grab the opportunity to draw my oc for college you are WRONG
practising digital painting! i tried to treat it like i would with physical paint and focus more on 3d forms and the overall look…. rather than my usual thing of zooming the fuck in to draw individual eyebrow hairs and ignoring the rest
realised i never posted this!
this was part one for an assignment in concept art - we had to make a model sheet for our character, including a turnaround and a closeup of an accessory.
