It had taken Sam some time to get out of the house. For the first couple of days, she slept off what couldn’t have been done in the hospital. With all of the tubes connected to her, every position was uncomfortable and she missed her plushy blanket more than anything. The one place she had grown safe in was Tabitha’s cafe. Everything about Nikita and Annabelle had made her feel right at home. She knew and hated to worry Sophia with everything. But, she kept many feelings inside because she was worried to burden her. Especially since Micah was going through things too. She didn’t want to be selfish and occupy her sister with her deepest worries either. Although, it would eventually get back to her for not clearing her thoughts steadily. This is something Sam knows but for now, she just needed to get her head level to the reality of everything that recently happened. Nonetheless, the fresh air was needed and a caught up with both of her favorite Grayson’s. Sitting down, wincing uncomfortably at the pain of her broken ribs before sucking in a sharp breathe. It will be a matter of time before she heals, doctors precise words. “Gosh, days away from this place and I missed it,” she comments with a genuine smile. “And I’m glad to be here with both of you. How are you both after everything?” Turning her attention, her genuine smile had stayed present after the question.
