“Tommy!” Clara called in a sing-song voice as she stepped into his apartment, she had spotted his car out front so she knew he was home. Having a key made things very convenient, “So, I’ve been hearing all about the benefit concert thing, and, obviously it’s for a really good cause and stuff but ... it also sounds really fun. You want to take me, right?” she asked with a grin.

Katelyn watched the girl with one of her widest grins, seeing the expression on Clara’s face was enough to make her day. “You do, you really do,” she nodded at first before looking the girl over again. “I’m sure you’ll find every reason to wear it if you get it, which you should. You’ll make someone drop dead out on those streets,”

Clara laughed softly, “Well, that would be pretty awesome.” she joked, “Seriously though, if I could just find a reason to wear this around Tommy, it might make the whole winning him back thing a lot easier.” she said with a small sigh, “I think I need to find an event to drag him to.”

Shaking her head, Aviana was determined to stay in bed for a little while longer. She just wanted to never leave at this point, but then the sun hit her eyes and boom she was awake. Fluttering, she moved to sit up on her bed as she let her hand wrap around the coffee Clara was giving her. “Are you sure?” she asked before taking a sip. “That sounds like a lot of money to be shelled out.”

“It’s really not that expensive, and there’s penguins!” she pointed out with a grin, “Come on, it will be fun! You know it will!” she insisted as she moved back to lean against a wall and take a sip of her own coffee. “We can go to the Varsity after? And I’ll deal with the line so you can just hold a table for us.” she added.

“You look beautiful.” He replied, as the girl continued to hype about the dress she wore. It looked great on her, she was right about that. And hey – if it made her that happy, then how bad could it be? “Keep doing what you’re doing, and you will have a thousand and one places you can throw it on for. Really, it’s very nice.”

“Oh, thank you! You’re so sweet!” she told the man happily, bouncing a little in her excitement. “I should introduce myself, shouldn’t I?” she questioned, “I’m Clara Ammon. It’s nice to meet you.”

“Don’t tell me that you’re one of those girls that buys their wedding dress before they’re even dating someone? Because I’m getting that vibe from you right about now darlin’.” 

“Excuse me?” Clara asked, smile dropping from her face as she glared at the man,”What gives you the right to say something like that? Because I want to buy a one piece of clothing without knowing exactly where I’ll wear it yet you think it’s okay assume something like that? Are you always so rude or did I just do something special to deserve you at peak form today?”

“I think that it is a nice dress. Honestly, I am not sure what else you want me to say.” Anthony replied, sending the girl a shrug. He had never been that great when it came to the whole fashion thing. “I don’t really know what you would wear it for either. It surely is a pretty lively dress though.”

Clara shrugged lightly, “I mean, there was a gala here just a few months back. So something like that, or a fancier holiday event. I’m an actress too, so if I were to land a bigger role soon, I would have plenty of opportunities for that.” she explained.

“If I don’t find a dress for this thing then I’m going to be in some serious hot water, sis, I’ll be back soon I promise, my schedule is clear and I was in at five this morning.” Looking at herself in the changing room mirror, Lucy turned to look at the back as she hung up the phone with her sister. Glancing over to the girl next to her, she smiled. “That looks adorable on you, honestly, it’s super cute. If I could find something that looked that good on me, I could stop my sister from moaning at me for not being in the office.”

Clara grinned happily at the compliment, “Thanks! I can help you look if you want?” she offered, “I mean, you’re gorgeous and this place has some amazing dresses, I know we could find something.” she added honestly. Shopping was fun and she really didn’t mind helping, especially since she had already found a dress. “What exactly are you looking for a dress for?”

“There are some situations that I don’t see the dressing really fitting, like going to an informal party, that dress just seems way too fancy” he let out a laugh, it was pretty though, even though he didn’t know much about fashion, he could recognize a pretty dress when he saw one “But I liked it, just not something I would wear, dresses are just like my thing”

Clara laughed softly, “True, but I’ll find something where it fits. I know there are galas and things here a lot, plus I’m an actress? Just preparing for the big break, right?” she said happily. “Oh, good! I did want to make sure it wasn’t just me that liked it. And I won’t judge you for your choices in fashion, but I think you could probably rock it too.” she added with a grin.

“What exactly is this for?- and not that I don’t mind helping- but, why am I the one you called for this opinion? It looks great, but why my opinion?”

Clara grinned, “I haven’t decided yet what it’s for, actually. But I know a lot of stuff goes on here, plus I’m an actress. I’ll find a use for it.” she explained with a small shrug, “But ... well, you were there. And you looked like a nice guy. Figured a second opinion wouldn’t hurt.”

Alba begrudgingly handed it over and pulled her head from her arms to watch the woman look at her design. She almost felt like a child with the way that she was carrying on, but the inner drama queen in her was freaking out just as much as she was. “You think?” Alba said with a thoughtful frown as she leaned over to see whatever she did. “Huh… that… might actually work.”

Clara nodded, “Yeah, exactly! I mean, it’s really good like it is but ... I don’t know, it just feels like it might work better that way?” she added. “Either way, I need to see the final project, definitely. It’s gonna be gorgeous.”

“It’s cute, you should totally get it.” Alexandria replied, sending the young girl a smile. It was a fairly nice dress and she seemed to fit it perfectly. “I am sure that you can find somewhere to wear it, perhaps a premier or some kind of gala. There are always things going on in Atlanta.” She added, knowing it wouldn’t take long for something to come up.

Clara beamed, “Oh, good! I’m glad you like it too.” she said, twirling around in the dress again briefly, “Yeah, I mean there’s always stuff going on! And I’m an actress. Therefore it can totally be my backup option in case of sudden invites to a big event, right?”

“What do you think?” Clara asked with a grin as she spun around to show off the dress, “I mean I’m not completely sure what I’d wear it to yet, but it’s perfect, isn’t it? I’ll find some reason to make use of it. Many reasons probably, I mean, how could I not? I look amazing!” she exclaimed happily.

“Hi, I’m Alba, sometimes I completely fail at life.” She slumped forward onto the table and buried her head in her arms, leaving her coffee uncharacteristically untouched. She could feel the slightest remnants of a headache forming at the crown of her head and she wanted nothing more than to scream into a pillow at that moment. She lifted up her sketchbook and pointed at the dress she had drawn there. “It looks weird right? The hemline, it’s all wrong.”

Clara laughed softly, “No, you don’t.” she said, shaking her head softly, “Come on, hand it over, I’m sure it’s not that bad.” she commented, taking the book before it could actually be handed and examining the drawing, “Hm ... I don’t know, it’s really good as it is... maybe make the hemline just a little longer? That might fit this dress.” she suggested.

Tired, Aviana was so tired. With further inspection of her ankle she had found that it wasn’t actually sprained—it was fractured in three places. Against her will she brought a doctor over and they helped figure out how she was gong to fix it, promising to give treatment outside of a hospital if they could. A week had gone by and her ankle along with most of the lower portion of her leg was in a cast. Her lower half covered by blankets, the burgundy-haired girl laid there sleeping—though a sound woke her slightly. “I don’t wanna get up..” said absentmindedly.

Clara grinned, “Yes, you do.” she said, moving to open curtains before handing a coffee off to the other woman, “Come on, today we’re going to have fun. No more moping. I vote we go do cheesy tourists stuff that we can stick you in a wheelchair for. That way we have fun and you don’t have to deal with crutches. What about the aquarium? They have penguins. And it’s my treat!”

“I wish I could meet the people who invented haunted houses. They are the real heroes, honest to god if I met them, I’d worship the ground they walk on.” Lux mused to the person sitting beside her. The brunette was hoping the month of September would fly by as Halloween was just around the corner. It was a holiday she looked forward to each year. 

Clara laughed at the others words, “You and me both, I love those. I can’t wait to see them start popping up ... honestly I might look into seeing if I can work one. It’s totally kind of acting experience, right?” she questioned with a grin.

“I’ve always been too stubborn to die, don’t worry.” Thomas replied, knowing things with his dad had made him a lot stronger of a person. He had constantly been having to come up with ways in which to avoid troubling situations. It was almost to the point now where there wasn’t a problem that he couldn’t solve. This was especially true now that him and Clara were on good terms again. The entire time that she had been gone, something just hadn’t felt right. “I am fairly certain I can still quote this entire movie. Trust me, I remember how many times you made me watch it.”

Clara smiled softly, “That’s the best part of your stubbornness, make sure you keep that up.” she told him as she leaned into him. Being with Thomas just felt safe, it felt right. What had she been thinking to give that up? “Hm. That might be one of my best accomplishments in life. I wonder if I can put that on a resume?” she joked lightly. “But it’s still a good movie, right?” she questioned, looking up at him. She didn’t want to make him watch something he really didn’t want to.

“It’s only because the people feel sorry for the person wearing the cast,” Elliot said with a laugh but teasing voice. It was true though, many people did ask what happened after they signed it. “I’m sure there is room for you to sign, yeah. I’m Elliot by the way, don’t think we’ve met before.”

Clara shrugged, “Maybe, or maybe they just get excited about the story behind it?” she offered instead before grinning, “Awesome! I think I have a sharpie somewhere in my purse actually...” she commented as she dug around inside, “Ah-ha! There it is!” she declared happily, “I’m Clara, it’s nice to meet you, Elliot!”
