What are your thoughts on nikki? Do you think she’s enabling him? What do you think of him saying he’s not dunn yet?
there’s no denial on the fact she was once part of his circle of enablers from what i’ve seen, especially from like 2012 till 2016 after she got pregnant, when they settled down and stuff. however, i highly disagree it was with the wrong/mean spirited intentions. when it comes to having an addict on your family/household you know someone you share your personal daily sphere with - sometimes a lot of us as family or friends enable the person who battle with this disease without truly meaning or knowing that harms them just as much the addicts that engage in every form of self-destruction.
within time ever since she became a public figure, i’ve noticed tons of unjustified and misoginist disdain towards her from his/CKY fans, so much more than the one missy rothstein used to get back when she was married to him. i still see it nowadays, mainly on ig and reddit. basically, she can not post a picture with phoenix without some random douche being at her like ‘’U SUCK AS A MOTHER U DON’T LEAVE YER HUSBAND BC YOUR HIS GOLD DIGGER U SLUT YOU DESERVE THE WAY HE TREATS U EW PUT SOME CLOTHES U SKANK YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO RAISE YOUR CHILD’ like damn, she can never post a pic of her in a bikini without tons of people slut shaming her, and yes this comes from bam and cky old school/new school fans. if she posts a selfie with phoenix they inmediately start attacking her for her looks.
the only things i can question about her are her anti-vaxx views she openly posts on her social media, the inmature ways she talked about bam’s exes like jenn rivell and how she’ve backed up and tried to justify bam’s bullying/abusive behaviour towards fans in the past but that’s it. other than that she doesn’t deserve the hate and ignorant judgement she gets.
based on all my research, what i understand and know from the whole fall of bam overall, april has stated long ago that she and the rest of the margeras have tried several times to talk to him about his issues with alcohol but whenever they touch that subject bam starts to get violent and throw things away - like he sort of refuses to get out of his comfort zone of illness till this day.
therefore, i can totally see why they’ve enabled him before, hell i bet he reacts the same exact way and worse towards nikki - which sadly, there’s signs of mental/verbal/emotional abuse and manipulation of him towards her. makes me feel bad for her honestly and wish she was able to get out of it asap, but i also understand the dynamics of toxic relationships along with the mental manipulation one can have on another and so on.
i do hope she gets able to get the proper help needed on the whole scenario because i’m super sure one way or another she’s dealing with mental/emotional trauma along with suffering, just as much as bam’s parents, brother and even their child.
