another night where sleep is difficult. another midnight stroll. another night where the darkness is a comforting blanket he can wrap himself in, the stars a companion for his thoughts. nova, his lynx familiar, pads along side him, ears and eyes alert just like his own. the forest, for now, is quiet. it’s pleasant, peaceful. before long, he finds himself standing at the foot of the temple of the gods and he sees a body standing there, too. if his vision wasn’t what it was, he’d only see shadow.
“debating on going in?” he questions, moving up alongside the son of hermes. he hasn’t said much to him since their arrival, but they’re both some of the newer additions to the roster. “have you gone in before?”
