Nikon F4E with Nikon AF Nikkor 28-200mm F/3.5-5.6 D IF len and Nikon Speedlight SB-23 flash
Starting off a new thing with some of my favourite photos the first roll through my new-to-me Nikon F4, all the way from Japan. Paired with the Tamron 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3, and of course Ultramax 400 my beloved, I was really surprised by how bright and vibrant the exposures were. I've got it in my head that travel/zoom lenses are a compromise compared to prime lenses, but this one is looking pretty good. It was an absolute joy to shoot with, and I'm looking forward to more adventures with her in tow. A few people have encouraged me to share my work a bit more widely than just the usual friends who get spammed when I feel proud of something I captured, so this blog is going to attempt to be an outlet for that. Try to embrace sharing my work, any fun experiences or film workflow tips I have, and engage with the little film community I've been spying on from my main blog. I'll try and hold myself to posting a few more times over the next few weeks, either with new stuff as I take it (dev it scan it edit it), or I'll revisit some of my older work over the last 8 months of shooting film and re-edit/share.
